There's some Catch 22 circular reasoning in there somewhere, inviting the response, "If NO ONE pays, I'd be a damned fool for doing any different, wouldn't I?" But Catch 22 was intended to make people think.

In playing the Devil's Advocate I could almost find myself defending Kizu. But he does seem to have pitched his price a little high and, in doing so, hasn't done his cause much good at all. But he's developed quite a knack of trying to shoot himself in the foot and missing.

That said, somebody is going to be the one who lays the last straw on the back of the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Yep.  I think she is very attractive.  However, I have one DVD of her already.  For the price of one new Yulia Nova DVD, I can get a 2-3 other DVD's.  Since there are still Chloe Vevrier, Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Marina Matsushima, Sierra, Diane Poppos, Virginia Fulsome, Virginia Bell, SaRenna Lee, etc DVD's that I don't have, I'd rather get 2-3 of those instead.  IMHO, you won't see many casual purchases of Yulia Nova DVD's.  You either like her so much that you'd spend whatever it takes or you'll just buy several other DVD's.  Or, let's face it, buy up some of her VCD's off of eBay or download off of a newsgroup.  Sure the quality is substandard, but when the cost is that high, I think most people will accept the quality reduction and save the money or, as I said, just buy someone else's DVD.

Two things for you Yulia fans:

1) After reading this thread, I took a trip up to one of my local book/DVD shops. Once I finished browsing around for gravure idol stuff (picked up the new Natsume Rio photobook a week early, so it was a worth while trip), I headed up to the adult section. You'll be happy to know that Kizu is gouging his fellow countrymen and not just the gaijin. The price of most Yulia DVDs started at ¥6500, and the most expensive one was ~¥8500  - way above the market price point. Suffice it to say, there were a lot of Yulia DVDs just sitting around.

2) Yulia is in this month's Bachelor, and on the cover for the second month in a row. Just a heads up for those interested.
