Well, that's a relief! We were beginning to think it was something personal.

At a guess, he's run up some huge costs and he's trying to cover them as quickly as possible by setting his prices high.

At another guess, it's not working.

The principle problem with a poorly run business is setting product price too high and hoping EVERYBODY is stupid enough to accept it. Kizu man....get yourself a better marketing strategy or no sales for you.

Southy,

Yulia DVD's dull??? I say, not so...

That depends upon how you perceive her...

If you think she is a rather ordinary model, than  YES,

But, if you see her, as many of her fans around the world, as maybe the greatest "slim n stacked" model of the last 50 years, then she is anything but "dull"

All her DVD's are very reasonably priced & any photo of her is a "masterpiece of human artwork"

I don't care how much money you have, billions of dollars.

You could buy anything in the world, but you could not buy

a "Yulia Nova" replica in the flesh. You can not have

someone "build" her. She is that unique!

Only mother nature creates something like her, every 50 years or so.

She is a "PRICELESS HUMAN GEM" !!!

Holy shit! We can see how much revenue the publisher is getting too! I hadn't looked at the price tag, but when I saw this, I did a double take to make sure I was looking at the right unit of currency. Selling 10 of these DVD's alone could finance a camera, modeling fees and roundtrip airplane tickets! There is no way I would pay that much for a DVD, ever, ever, ever (discounting future effects of inflation of course). Any sympathetic pleas about compensation for the copyright holder will get no sympathy from me as long as I don't know what kind of sympathy Yulia is personally getting, which as far as can currently be deduced, is none.

$60 isn't so bad for UK customers as it is for some others. It's a mere £31. Chickenfeed.

Wow, as much as that?

As I mentioned, if you are a serious fan of the lovely Yulia Nova, you'll pay whatever the price and be happy that you got more video of her to watch.  However, for those of us who have other models that we like as much (in my case, Chloe Vevrier, Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Virginia Bell, etc) the price is high enough that we won't buy them.

Put it this way, if the cost was ~$35, I'd snag at least one of her new DVDs.  At the current price, I'll drop it on Chloe Vevrier's DVD off of her website.  I suspect that there are lots and lots of people who will make similar decisions.

The Yulia-Kizu debate continues to rage...

As for me, I consider Yulia to be genuinely unique, and while i d/l'd everything available in the past when it was available in the newsgroups, I have subsequently bought most of her DVD's.  I've done it because i can afford it, and because my interest in her has not wained over these 3 or 4 years...if anything it has increased.  The lastest costume series of 3 DVD's are a valuable addition to her 'catalogue' of work...we see a different side of her personality in the various costumes...and there is no diminished spectacle when she removes one of them...!!

What's more, I am now glad she hasn't become the normal commercially available model who goes to the USA and photographs for all the usual suspects.  There is such a thing as 'rarity' value: your see a little and you appreciate more.  I've seen that at work with me with any number of models who excited me at first...then they appeared virtually everywhere...and the excitement dwindled.
Normal human nature..!

I continue to 'value' Ewa Sonnet in a similar manner.

Anyway, I find that i have become a genuine Yulia Nova fan.  And i accept the situation as it stands with Mr Kizu and assume Yulia is happy with whatever arrangement they have or she wouldn't continue working with him.

I look forward to many more 'boring' Yulia DVD's...!
