Thanks so much for that quote from Kizu, I almost fell out of my chair laughing about that!
Kizu is a man of about 60 plus years old now, when he says a photo is "recent" he means, "within the last several years"!
There is no way anyone can look at that pic of Yulia with a Japanese outfit on, and say it was taken later than 2003.
Mr. Kizu is a salesman and a magician, when it comes to marketing Yulia's materials.
If you had studied Yulia and Kizu, like I have, for the last 7 or so years, you would realize, that his statement just makes no sense whatever!

If you can find more factual material than this about her, I would really like to see it!
Attached is a montage of what I believe is her youngest looking pic in a shower, with no makeup at all. Next, is her pic with the Japanese outfit on, taken in about 2002.5, when she was 20, and the last pic shows her at 22, taken sometime in 2004.
Kizu claims the last pics of her were taken in 2005, but I have not seen any prove of that yet.
In summary, she sure did change and mature very nicely.

Some Facts & Mysteries About Yulia Nova
FACTS ABOUT YULIA: Ms. Nova was born and lives in Moscow. Her birthday is approximately June 1982. In the Summer of 2000, at the age of 18, Yulia entered a "Russian Beauties Contest" sponsored by Japanese photographer, Satoshi Kizu. By the Fall, she was chosen over many other applicants, to be featured in, Japanese only, magazines & photobooks At the time, Mr. Kizu had been making annual trips to Moscow for 6 years, looking for promising Russian models. At the outset, Yulia submitted a poor & not very flattering photo of herself, which did not reveal her figure. At that age, with very little makeup, Yulia appeared as a somewhat “plain” looking young Russian teenager, not the type he was looking for.
Mr. Kizu almost did not ask her to appear for a photo audition! But finally, with some help from others, Mr.Kizu saw in Yulia a “world-class” model with endless potential. Her pure white skin, demure features, "girl next door" good looks and unparalleled sexy figure, subsequently, have made her a huge sensation worldwide.
Her first two photo books & the first three videos, were taken during a 2 week period, near Christmas 2000. She appears quite young, in fact is 18 1/2, at the time. Mr. Kizu continued to take still photos & videos of Yulia during the Summer & Winter of 2001 & the Summer of 2002, Winter of 2002 & Summer of 2003, Although, it is difficult to be precise, most likely the very latest photos of Yulia, that have been published to date, were taken no later than Winter of 2004.
It is quite unfortunate for Yulia's fans, that her videos released thus
far, only show her to be about 22, at the oldest. We know that she will be 24 in
the Summer of 2006. There is no proof that any videos have been made during
2005-2006. Yulia's figure has not changed significantly, except for an increase
of "two" cup sizes. However, her face is finally showing some age! Only time will tell, if any video were taken when she was 23 & 24, if & when it is marketed in the future.
To date, Yulia has appeared in sixteen videos, three
photobooks, several "post card sized photo sets, a 2005 calendar and numerous
Japanese magazines. Her dreams are to become a successful model and win many fans from around the world. Enjoying one of her DVD's on a large screen, plasma TV, is an experience you will not soon forget! Yulia has never & will never make any videos, any "harder" than the "erotic" type. She feels that her work has a "high art value" & her fans agree.
MYSTERIES ABOUT YULIA:
Ms. Nova wishes to remain anonymous in her native country, of Russia. Except for a few minutes of dialog contained in her videos, she has never made any public statements or appeared in a public event. Virtually all of the information about Yulia, has been provided by Mr. Kizu. He is her one & only photographer, spokesperson, business manager & marketer of all of her DVD's, photobooks, etc. He is "slowly" releasing some of the mountain of material he has taken of her. Considering that he has traveled to Russia about four times per year for about four years, he has amassed hundreds of hours of video & 10’s of thousands of still photos of Yulia!
Originally, his marketing plan intended on having her appear in Bachelor Magazine (Japan only), & selling VHS tapes & photobooks, solely in
Japan. This strategy, however, was successful for only a brief period of time.
Short video clips of Yulia appeared on the internet, posted by "Chippy", an American "visionary". One by one, around the end of 2001,he posted all three VHS tapes, appearing in 5 minute intervals on the "newsgroups". Potential Yulia fans worldwide, could see how compelling a model she was, and soon "pirated" copies of her works were made available for sale on the internet.
Sensing a huge demand for Yulia’s materials, Mr. Kizu quickly established a business relationship with "Danni's Hard Drive". At about the same time, he setup his own website, called "Kizu.Net" The Danni relationship lasted a few months & Kizu.net, was shutdown, allegedly, due to excessive pirating of his materials.
For one full year, during 2003, no new Yulia materials, save for a few handbags, tee shirts & coffee cups were produced. Yulia fans were distraught! They knew that Yulia would naturally mature & her fans desired to have videos of her as time progressed.
Then suddenly, Mr. Peter Payne, proprietor of "JList.com", an American business man, with an established organization, marketing a huge range of Japanese products in USA, appeared on the scene. Mr. Payne happens to live near Mr. Kizu in Japan & he convinced Mr. Kizu that he could sell Yulia's products through his established sales organization & deal with the pirated materials produced illegally.
Yulia's fans were ecstatic! Shortly thereafter, the original three VHS tapes were made into DVD's with an additional 30 minutes of unseen footage. Followed, by the Gorgeous Goddess Series & the Cosplay Series of DVD's.
The newest DVD's called "The Seasons Trilogy" came out near the end of January 2006. Three more DVD’s have been released, in the Fall of 2006, called “Yulia & Friends” which continue to feature new material of her between 18 & 21.
Considering that Yulia has just turned 24 & that Mr. Kizu has continued to take videos all during this time, means that at the very minimum, several more years of a more "mature & sophisticated" Yulia should be available in the near future, great news for Yulia fans everywhere!
Yulia may still be modeling in 2006, however there is no way to verify this, until more recent material in made available to her fans.
