Alas, I never met her. I wish I had. She was barely five feet tall, if that. She posed several times over a year or so. What made her an appealing model, aside from the obvious, was that she projected a forthright sexuality and had an intuitive understanding of the value of using her short stature in posing. For example, I don't know of a better shot anywhere to demonstrate a model's bust-waist-hip ratio:

Here is a composite from Fling of the 1972 Miss Nude World contest, featuring three shoots of the lovely Ms Pritchard. I can't find any indication that she was a contestant, but she certainly made things more interesting:

One online source claims she was only 4' 10" tall, probably close to her real height.   Short as she was, she was "built" as well as any pinup model that ever came down the pike and more importantly, liked to really show it all off!   Here's a little piece I put together of Suzanne P.

Interesting story, but has about as much truth to it as the stories about Obama being "conservative" or "middle of the road" in his politics when he was running as a candidate.   Makes me laugh out loud though! 


More 'n likely, from the way I got it, she was just another one of them chicks who ventured West (Go West Young Harlot!) and got caught up in the pose your boobs for money process.

There were several Suzi Pritchards right?   First she was a natural brown short haired beauty with enormous boobs.

Then she was a blonde with long tresses who posed with and without clothes on stage.   At this point, she mighta had a show she was doing, complete with cowgirl hat and cowgirl togs?    Then, there are later shots of her where she looks a little worn out (too many long nights on her back in motel rooms me thinks?), and definitely looks a few years older, having lost a few precious inches off her boobs?

Yes, her pictures are pretty hard to sort because she had at least two (maybe more) changes of hair color, and her facial appearance seemed to change quite a bit. I have no idea where she was from originally, but she was living in L.A. in the late 1960s. There are a few film clips of her, mostly just standing around and jiggling, and she did at least one shoot with another model whom I can't identify (Below).

I've wondered about the shots of her on stage, because all the big-boobed strippers of the era are pretty well identified, and she isn't among them. That complicates things, because the whole system was a lot more loosely structured in the late 1960s, early 1970s. There were several clubs where the performers took bids during the evening and went home (or to the nearest motel) with the high bidder, and about half the well-known big-boob models of the era worked in the field of compensated affection.

Just wanted to say that Suzanne Pritchard is one of my favs. Too bad I wasn't born 30 years earlier...

Well, not meaning to imply anything, but here is a picture of Suzanne with the "stage" setting that JJ referred to earlier in our discussions. And unless there was a naked karaoke club in L.A. that I didn't know about, this supports JJ's theory:
