I'll admit I'm a bit of a coffee snob (I blame a roommate I had for a couple of years). But I'll drink a day old pot of good coffee made at home before I'll drink a two hour old pot of the swill they make at work.

Personally, I never touch the stuff.

It’s not so much I like coffee, as, I need coffee.

My name is Hiram, and I’m a coffee addict – there, I said it.

It depends on the tapwater where you live. The upside of living in a place where it rains nine months in a row is that the tapwater is very, very good.

On the other hand, there are some places along that lovely river for which your home state is named where I've run a glass of tap water and watched the --um-- "supplements" settle to the bottom. There I would use distilled water.

I was wondering if distilled water makes coffee taste significantly better.

Distilled water is best for cleaning your coffeemaker/espresso machine, etc.

To make the actual java, I recommend reverse osmosis water.  Or rather, I think that's the general guideline.  YMMV.

If it tastes different than your tap water maybe.

How long would you let brewed coffee set around before you wouldn`t reheat and drink it?
Coffee the one thing other than cigarets that I live for if it just sits over night I would nuke it and drink it.
Everything worked fine for me that's got to be an omen.                                                  [URLhttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/morphedbreastsno1/
