Based on a 1930's Duesenberg. No, it was not a German car but an all American car made in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The expression, " It's a Duesy" is derived from it. They were the super high tech cars of their era. All hand built and no two were the same since they were built to order. They had aluminum bodies, super charged engines and used the finest woods for much of the interior. Unfortunately, the company did not survive the Great Depression.
