Bottom line is its her decision

Is it really?  That quote is rather telling the way I read it.

At any given time society at large only tolerates being "different" in certain ways. Controlled ways where everyone is essentially still the same.

"being like everybody isn't that the same as being nobody?"

Just because your big breasts are the biggest, doesn't mean they can't be made BIGGER :)

Is it really?

Um..yes it is.

Listen almost no one is as obsessed with huge tits as me, ask my wife, but at some point you need to admit to yourself that that this woman is not a bunch of pixels nicely arranged for our erection pleasure, but a person with needs that don't include us.

That said, damn what nice titties she has, if I were king I would order immediate execution of plastic surgeons offering BR.
Call me Bob.

What I got from zeo's comment is the issue of whether she's being pressured into the surgery by society and the people around her, from the combination of day-to-day comments, difficulty finding dresses that fit, modeling agents who want her to be like the typical uncurvy model, etc.

Agreed.  I like an abundant bosom as much as anyone, but it's her life and her body.  Having said that, she's given us plenty to appreciate in her modeling efforts thus far, as seen in this photo.

Talk about missing the point. Did you even read the quote I put in? Even notice it? Read and compute any of the context before knee jerking? That's another peeve I have with society but anyway...

how much is it really a person's decision when there are so many external pressures? Not being like everyone else comes with penalties, often severe ones. It messes with a person's mind, feelings, etc. Some may react by putting up a fight and becoming very different, some may hide in the shadows, others will conform. Are any of the choices, any of the reactions to the outside world really free will when the society itself is anything but free? Any such choice is made not just because a person wants this or that but because of how the outside will react. The pluses and minuses are added up and most of those are external.

Example... most of us do not dare mention what is merely what we find attractive. Why? Why is it hidden in shadows while women have no trouble saying they want a tall guy right out in the open? Is height any more or any less genetic?

Exactly. Hearing only the voices that say 'be like everyone else'. Hearing the other voices as only being pervs and worse.

I see your point, but at the same time I don't feel it's society's pressure in her case. She seems like a smart girl who may want to lessen the load on her body. I feel like if "society" was pressuring her, she wouldn't be as receptive to feedback about the surgery process and such. If she were doing it because of self-consciousness, she would just do it and be done with it.

She's a model and has posed in the nearly nude. I very well could be wrong, but I don't think she has body image issues.[quote author=zeo

Models are notorious for having body image problems.  They can get obsessively insecure over the most trivial imperfection of their body, or aspects of their body that aren't imperfections in any way.

I totally get what you are saying and I agree with you. I would like to believe she wouldn't be considering this if societies' rules and pressures weren't all around her, or if she thinks she can make more money by doing it. I seriously doubt women living 100+ years ago with big tits were secretly wishing there was some way they could pay 8 or 9 grand to have their breasts reduced.

"You horny naysayers can shut right up because your opinion is not valid or appreciated."

Ha ha, whatever. So she basically insults people who might think she looks fine the way she is? Why be a model and take your clothes (partially) off in front of what is most likely to be a predominately male audience in order to get paid and then insult what is most likely to be the majority of them that have gotten you this popular in the first place?

I worry that she reads this board and that we are the "horny naysayers." Let's all relax, folks. No need to throw gasoline on the fire.

I don't see a conflict.  What is a better way to prove wrong those who say something isn't right with your appearance/body but by making money as model?

As you mentioned earlier about your own post, there was more to my post than just the one portion you replied to. Besides the fact that she's a model, from her interviews, photo choices, and artistic work, she displays a degree of comfort with her body evident by the fact that she asked for input about the surgery process and not about whether or not she needed it. I feel like that is more telling about her motivation.

Of all the large-breasted folks I've seen around the net, I haven't seen any that gave any warning to getting a reduction. It seems that she may be entertaining the idea, but doesn't feel pressured.

I worry that she reads this board and that we are the "horny naysayers." Let's all relax, folks. No need to throw gasoline on the fire.

If she does/did, I hope she notices how many posts call attention to her overall beauty. By not contacting her about the subject I believe we are abiding her wishes.

Of course the mere fact that she's willing to say "I am more than glorious boobahs" shows that she knows she's got something good going for her.
