The parliament of New South Wales, Australia has passed a motion calling US presidential candidate Donald Trump a "revolting slug" unfit for office.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-37640336

The motion was filed by Greens party MP Jeremy Buckingham to the Upper House of the NSW parliament.

It said: "This house... agrees with those who have described Mr Trump as a 'revolting slug'."

"It's clear that all reasonable and decent people find Donald Trump's behaviour obnoxious and that the world is hoping American voters reject his politics of hate," Mr Buckingham said in a statement.

Because there was no objection, the motion was recorded as having been agreed to by all of the lawmakers.

It was allowed only after the president of the legislative council determined that "revolting slug" did not amount to unparliamentary language. Parliamentary procedure prevents MPs from using "extremely distasteful" words.

Oh, and remember in the second debate how Trump kept looming over Clinton?

Danny Elfman has set it to music, just in time for Halloween:

Looks like Trump purchased ClintonKaine.com because someone refused to pay the bill.

 ;D

What he did with the site is pretty hilarious.
Imagine if Obama, Kamala, or Biden survived two assassination attempts and the media not publicly destroying the reputation of everyone who issued even the most mild criticism of them and then just dropping the story completely.

Yeah, I cannot either.

All fun and games when it came to the Trump statue. I think conservatives just laughed it off.

But when it comes to a Hillary statue, its time to destroy private property and act like a lunatic

She was glancing at notes she took while he was talking. At other points in the debate, you could see him taking notes too. They had pens and notepads in the recessed areas on the tops of their podiums (where his water glass is in the photo).

Here is video of Trump "triumphantly" tearing his notes off the notepad after "winning" last night's debate.

Oh, and while I'm here, this bears repeating occasionally...

There are two exceptions: hate speech and condemnations of race/nation/faith/gender/orientation etc. aren't permitted, and expressions of solidarity/loyalty to hate groups aren't permitted. Beyond that, users are free to express themselves as long as what they post or link isn’t excessively offensive or inflammatory.

So the anti-Hillary comments made you think to bring this up? None of the dozens of anti-Trump comments crossed the line? Thats interesting.

Well anyway, Hillary in a shocking point during the debate, told the whole world US military classified information about how long it takes for the US to get its nukes up and running.
Here is the video

Good one Hillary. You are going to be such a great leader!

It's called "glare". The reflection of the studio lights off the polished surface of the podium.

I cannot believe ANYONE would be so STUPID (and desperate in their Anti-Clinton conspiracies) as to think otherwise.

Don't take the policy I quoted personally; it was written a long time ago in response to completely different people and things, and was not directed entirely at you. However, the politics threads have become harsher recently, and this point in this thread —when the accusations are turning reckless— seemed like the appropriate place to remind everyone that there are limits. My job is to reassert those limits when they're being strained.

Here's an interesting question the moderators have to consider, though: in what way is a presidential campaign that embraces —and is embraced by— various hate groups not itself a hate group? I'm not a debate moderator, so I can be biased: I don't like racism, misogyny, xenophobia, and narcissism. Unfortunately, you're backing the overgrown orange poster-ch¡ld of those inclinations.

I'll try to refrain from moderating the thread, but that ultimately depends on how you and the other posters express yourselves.

At the 1st debate:

Glare huh? There's that word again, conspiracies. Russia helps wiki leaks!

Taking what you just said into account, and reading rtopes latest comment, I would say he/she owes me an apology.

Look, it's a gloriously dumb conspiracy theory that fails to account for stage lighting, visible notepads, and oversight by a nonpartisan commission whose representatives and technicians were all over the stage before and after each debate. rtpoe didn't condemn you personally; he condemned anyone who believes that theory. He was painting with a broad brush, as you have done more than a few times in these threads. If he feels he owes you an apology, I'm sure he'll let you know.

Hence why I posted this in the "funny" politics thread. Have a sense of humor about it.   :'(
