Some notable reruns on Galavision/Univision
« on: October 30, 2011, 03:40:31 PM »
All times ET/PT

On Galavision:

1. Fuera de Serie -- the travelogue series that originally introduced the world to Sofia Vergara, nearly 20(!) years ago.  5:30 AM daily
2. La Escuelita VIP -- sitcom frequently featuring Roxana Martinez, Vica Andrade, and/or Lorena Herrera as schoolchildren dressed in very non-schoolchild-like outfits.  6 PM weekdays.
3. Bienvenidos -- 1990s sketch comedy series, usually with plenty of cleavage on display.  4:30 AM weekdays.

Meanwhile, Univision has reruns of "La Jaula", another series frequently featuring Roxana.  2 AM weekdays.

If only episodes of Caliente were still on, that show was some good eye candy for a young lad of 16 or so back in the day!

You could always watch "Muy Buenos DÍas" on Telemundo every weekday at 6am.   ;)

Desmadruga2 (not in reruns) is another great Univision series for tasting eye candy.  Midnight Saturdays.

NOTE: I may have to make a partial retraction.  The Univision web site said La Jaula at 2 AM, but the Comcast listings say La Informercial.

La Jaula IS on at 2 a.m. where I am. I'll try to find time to share part of one of my favorite episodes that played this past week. Sabrina and Ivonne in bikinis in a skit.

Also check out Escandalo TV and Tombola, although they may be on Telemundo, I can't remember.

Escandalo TV is no longer on the air.  Too bad.  And just when I was able for the first time to see TeleFutura at home.  Tombola (which may be a replacement) is on TeleFutura, not Telemundo; Carolina Sandoval (http://yogafrog.blogspot.com/search/label/Carolina%20Sandoval) is a co-host.

Desmadruga2 may be off the air as well; it has not aired either of the past two weeks.

P.S. Zookie, isn't it time to update your signature?  Bush has been out of office for three years now.

I haven't tried recording a 2 AM broadcast here yet to make sure, but one explanation comes to mind:  that Univision has La Jaula at 2 AM, but the local Univision affliliate prefers to turn over the entire time slot to some dubious advertiser.  Bah humbug.

Nah, it's a historical document. Just like my avatar (Jade Feng's rack has been enhanced via implants...I want to remember her as she was, a remarkably naturally-big-busted Asian woman).

Desmadruga2 was on again last Saturday night, albeit at 1 AM rather than midnight as it usually has been on.

Alas, Tombola was cancelled after just three months.
