Not for being conservative, that too broad of a stroke to say it was a political issue. But for denigrating people for their gender and religion. However in her defense she acknowledge that she should have not been insensitive to the trans community for her post and now understand why we have "them, and They" as pronoun. But the comment about Jews and NAZI were a bit overboard. That was probably the last straw. I suspect that she might have been too vocal on the set, and her tweets were just evidence to get her fired. There has been more scrutiny in hiring actors with great personality lately. There is a long line of willing actors to take their place, to weed out those that rub the cast the wrong way. From her blog she goes on and on about how the left wing are totalitarian mob out to cancel culture, sounding very much like Trump mantra. Trump approval rating at 29% could just be a financial decision to fire Gina. I enjoy her performance! Sad to see her go!
