I am already tired of reading about the nutjob who opened fire at the movie theater.

I have read all manner of articles and comments about everything from "we need better mental health care" to "Was President Obama being political when he went there" to "continuing to keep the killer's name in print just feeds his ego, so we shouldn't keep mentioning it".

Of course, everyone keeps tiptoeing around anything even remotely involving why he was able to easily obtain all those weapons and all that ammo... I am not going there at this time.

Where I would like to go refers back to the comments I've read about whether or not we should keep the killer's name in print. Whatever you may think about that, there are twelve people who *should* have their names printed and in our consciousness:

Jonathan Blunk, 26: A certified firefighter and emergency medical technician who had served in the US Navy for three tours of duty in the Middle East, he died after throwing himself in front of his girlfriend Jansen Young and saving her life.

Alexander "AJ" Boik, 18: A catcher who played on his high school baseball team through his junior year, he had recently graduated from Gateway High School in Aurora. He also played in the school orchestra. He was to start classes at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in the fall. Gateway principal Bill Hedges said Boik planned to become an art teacher.

Jesse Childress, 29: An Air Force cyber-systems operator based at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora.

Gordon Cowden, 51: An independent businessman.

Jessica Ghawi, 24: A writer looking towards a career in sports journalism.

John Larimer, 27: A cryptologic technician with the US Navy based at Buckley Air Force Base.

Matt McQuinn, 27: An employee of a nearby Target store, he died protecting his girlfriend Samantha Yowler and her brother Nick.

Micayla "Cayla" Medek, 23: A student at Aurora Community College, she also worked at a Subway shop.

Veronica Moser-Sullivan, 6: A beginning swimmer.

Alex Sullivan, 27: A bartender at a Red Rooster restaurant.

Alexander C. Teves, 24: A graduate student in psychology, he got his Master's in June and was starting work towards a doctorate.

Rebecca Wingo, 32: A customer relations representative at a mobile medical imaging company.

USA Today Investigation Finds Glaring Omissions in FBI’s Murder Data

Now a USA Today investigation has raised more serious questions about the accuracy of the database after discovering only a 57% accuracy rate for recording the killings of four or more people in a single event in the past decade.

Missing, for example, is the widely publicized Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings, which killed 26 teachers, students and administrators. Also missing is Aurora Colo., movie shootings.

You know, I tried to be nice.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt. I really believe that people are entitled to their own political opinions, and that freedom of speech demands that we actually listen to what other people are saying.

I figured that anyone who comes here does so because they love women with huge breasts, and that trumps everything else.

I refrained from debating the many points you brought up, because if there's one thing I've learned from reading comments on news articles (no matter what the journalistic slant of the news publication in question - even something as blandly middle-of-the-road as USA Today suffers from them), it's that you cannot possibly have a sane discussion with someone completely delusional about the state of the country/world. Life is too short to debate someone who believes that Jade Helm 15 is an attempt to invoke martial law in Texas, or that "chemtrails" are a "thing".

I was going to let that all slide....

Then I find that you have gone back god knows how many pages here to find a nearly three-year-old post that existed solely to honor those slain by a nutjob to insinuate that there is some sort of conspiracy going on in what any rational person would realize is the result of an underfunded and understaffed bureaucratic agency. (One which, I might add, is prevented by the NRA Lobby from spending any money on anything that would update, upgrade, and streamline such data collection (if you don't believe me - and you probably don't, I'm sure, but I'm bringing it up anyway - ask yourself why any state can access automobile license and registration data in any other state, but there is at present no similar national sharing of information on gun licenses and registration.))

What little respect I had for you has vanished.

I cannot ask you to leave - this website and Forum are open to all, and we do not ban people lightly. I respect those rules, and I'm not a moderator here. I don't have the authority to back up a request to leave.

But I would like to ask you one thing....

Given that you seem to find an EEEvil Government Conspiracy behind every cloud and rock, how the hell do you even manage to get out of bed in the morning?

Well I do appreciate the way you have responded to me thus far. My free speech has been met with your free thought. And that is important.

Now, you said you refrain from certain debates because you think you can't have a sane discussion with someone who has a "delusional" view of the world. The counter argument is hard to express here, I certainly get what you're saying.

Think of that explanation Dicaprio gave in that movie Shutter Island. No one believes a crazy person right?

It is why the media is trying to label "conspiracy theorists" as potential threats. As if conspiracy theorists are somehow terrorist sympathizers. And that's not the case at all. But the demonizing is there. And something I don't understand is that recently, IMO, conspiracy theorists have more credibility than the US government has right now.

A lot of "theories" are not theories anymore. Look here:
http://www.collective-evolution.com/2015/05/13/the-top-8-conspiracy-theories-that-are-turning-out-to-be-true/
http://thetruthwins.com/archives/20-conspiracy-theories-that-turned-out-to-be-true

These "conspiracy theories" come off as extreme because that's what they are. Extreme. And to put them mildly would be to lie.

False flags are NOT a theory anymore. If someone were to say that the government spys on you 10, 15 years ago, what would a "sane" person have thought?

And I'd also like to point out that I don't think Jade Helm is an attempt at Martial Law in Texas. I have questions about it. Many. But I also don't rush into things that way. I mean, I don't believe there is a reptillian race running the world. But I do believe there are groups of people getting ready and engineering towards a One Wolrd Government.

I hope you can understand where I'm coming from and refrain from attacking me personally.
