On one of her social-media accounts, Carrie Keagan said that she'll be guest-modelling on The Price Is Right on CBS this week.

Missed yesterday's episode, but I was able to record most of today's (10/15).  She was very impressive.
Off topic: It's been years since I've watched the Price is Right, I stopped watching when Bob Barker was given the heave-ho, and I was really surprised at how skinny Drew Carey was.

Drew's a better host than Bob was, in my opinion. He's far less crotchety and has a sense of humor about the whole process in a kind way.

Something I've noticed in these past two days that I've been watching the Drew Carey'd Price is Right, is that when there's a buxom woman on screen, they cut away from them at odd times.  During today's episode, 10/16, they cut away in the middle of Carrie's introduction and cut to a shot of the audience and then cut back to her.  It's like there's a set limit on the amount of time a bouncy woman is allowed to be onscreen per cut.  It's weird - - or I'm over-analyzing it.

Drew's more personable, but he also seems to be more looser and with his delivery.  There's a lot of "Uhms" when he talks.  Bob Barker was smooth and professional.  It's probably nostalgia talking, but Drew's just not on the level of game show host that Bob Barker was.

No, I don't think you're over analyzing it... what you suggest is probably not too far off from the reality of things. I'm not personally familiar with the way that producers of shows interact with Standards and Practices (aside from what's been depicted on 30 Rock and other shows) but I'd not be surprised if there were some rules/procedures to keep the level of titillation () at an acceptable level for the viewing audience.

Though I'm not a game-show watcher, I do agree. I suspect most TV critics would too, and perhaps Drew himself too. Which is fine... I'd not expect Drew to become the ultimate traditional game-show host but rather for him to put his spin on things while paying respect to the format. I gather that's what he's doing.

Of course, I'm glad there's still some attention paid to that small fraction of the audience (us) who enjoys TPIR (in clip form) for the eye candy.
