With the help of the editors of The Knot, Brandon makes his girlfriend Jolie think that she's getting him to win a contest for "the most romantic man in California". In reality, Brandon has arranged to propose to Jolie and marry her on the same day -- a wedding which Brandon has organized entirely without input from Jolie.
