What was the nature of the tampering?  Are you talking about the posts on her thread asking for people who like her to vote for her?  That's not tampering, that's drumming up votes. However, if the nature is something else more sinister, then we should have a revote.  Leanne, herself, should not be punished because of the actions of others.

There was someone, who has now been banned, who created multiple accounts to pad Leanne's lead. I agree Leanne should not be punished, but I've also got to send a message that this is not okay. If you think a revote will do this and give Ewa justice I'm all for a revote.

Sounds fair. But if Leanne benefited from deception, could other models also be affected ? Did other models also have their results padded by this nefarious means ? I was having so much fun with this and some asshole spoiled it. Shame we can't horsewhip him.

Easy Sol, I know your pissed but let's not give this idiot the satisfaction of throwing us into a rage. From what Gonzo said it was just Leanne who benefited, I should have figured something was up when an account named 'LC Lover' kicked off a wave of "new" accounts who all voted Leanne.

I think these last two matches (and probably brackets # 3 & 4 if it goes smoothly) I will do via polls.

One question (this isn't just for you Sol, but for all; hey that rhymes!), can you change the subject, etc of the poll within the thread, or would you have to keep creating new ones?

I trust you Mr Pickles. After all, you could have kept the voting scandal ( BEAgate ?  ) under wraps and I doubt most of us would have been the wiser. Do whatever it takes to fix this.

I'll add a little more info here...

We've seen no signs of tampering in brackets that didn't involve Leanne Crow.

The tampering was spotted by an observant user who confronted one of the tamperer's IDs here in the thread. That post had to be removed because the tamperer's choice to register multiple IDs is a matter of privacy, but big thanks to the user who spotted the problem.

Although it's perfectly fine to have multiple user IDs, any time somebody uses multiple IDs to gain an unfair advantage (as in this tournament), or to violate other rules or limits, that user is penalized. The user who tampered with the voting and all of his aliases have been banned.

Once Mr_Pickles and you guys have agreed on a way to redo the brackets and proceed, I'll remove any brackets and votes that were invalidated by the cheating so that the tournament can continue in an honest and coherent manner.

So I think a revote is a runaway winner; Ewa gets a reprieve, and I wont punish Leanne, she'll be handled just like any other knock-out and her percentage of vote in round 1 will determine her place on the list.
