Where were you when the Sun went out?

I was at work, well outside of the belt of totality. I did follow it online, though. Which was cool.

By the way, the next big US eclipse will happen on April 8, 2024, in the afternoon. It will cover cities like Indianapolis, Cleveland, and Buffalo.

We must DEMAND that Major League Baseball make sure that the Cleveland Indians are at home that day, and have a day game....

I watched the livestream from NASA -- it's a fantastic use of my tax dollars. I love NASA :)

I was in eastern Oregon, less than half a mile off the center of the path of totality.

I'll say this: The pictures and videos completely fail to do the event justice. Intellectually, I knew going in what would happen, but it still caught me off guard to actually see it. It's the most amazing, creepy, incredible sight you could ever see...
