How best to attach videos to the BEA

I went digging for the best method and approach to attach video links to the BEA.
Obviously, other video hosting sites change over time and wanted to move the "best practice" to the top here.

Sort of want to avoid what appeared on a recent Pink Lisa post.

What is the best way to link or reference video content?


Personally, I always link to embed a still image along with a link just for the record, even if the link dies.

Does this work? Remove the spaces first.....
