Thank you, Bad Kitty, for a nice lesson on "attractiveness". It is a convoluted issue for both men and women. I have seen studies of what is attractive to men taken down to the "waist to hip ratio" which seems to be instinctual and also that big breasts could be similar to the rear view of a woman in the depths of men's genes. I think in the last century that has changed a bit and big breasts and small waists have become more of a factor in female attractiveness to men.
As for female's attractiveness to men, I agree with Kitty that there are more subtle factors. While, in my opinion, we don't use "waist to hip ratios" when looking at men, we do like wide shoulders, pretty hair, beautiful expressive eyes, tight buns that are not too small, a good musculature in the arms, chest and legs - a tight tummy, hygene (you don't smell), and maybe surprisingly, longer legs. In the past, women have had to forego what made their hearts beat and pay attention to other things like, the size of your wallet (for security) and the level of your adoration (a feeling that you would always stay with us). With women having an increasing (but still not equal) income, they have the luxury of picking a mate that is more attuned to their hearts and we can now even express such things as penis size and sexual gratification. It has changed the playing field, yes? Bimbos and Hunks. It is a whole new world.
