She does have an amazing talent for singing!
Maybe it's because my middle-aged ears can't properly hear the frequencies emitted by her vocal cords, but I am completely puzzled why people think she has any singing talent. I only hear whispering and mumbling when she "sings", at least in her popular songs like "Bad Guy".
might be a good idea to listen to more songs than just “bad guy” before judging her singing ability (like maybe “i love you”, “everything i wanted”, or “my future”)
but that being said, no one is claiming she is the next Adele or anything. People don’t love her purely for her vocal range. She’s got a unique voice that a lot of people enjoy (myself included), as well as her songwriting and lyricism and production.
I think a lot of people value different parts of music more than others. I’ve known people that couldn’t appreciate songs that didn’t have complex drum beats or guitar instrumentation. For me it just has to sound good. The person singing doesn’t have to be the next Whitney Houston. It can help for sure, but there’s a lot of other elements that make up good music in my opinion.
Of course you might just not like her style, and I can respect that, but referring to her as someone with no talent is just incorrect.
