Aah , so you guys mess with your clocks too ? Is that all of the U.S. ?? .... Our clocks went back 1 hour on the 27th of october , to 'GMT' ( Greenwich Mean Time ) , from 'BST' ( British Summer Time ) . Gets dark very early now
.
We go back on the first Sunday of November and go forward on the second Sunday of March. Spring forward, Fall (Autumm) back. Yup today it will be dark around 4PM or 1600 hours since Las Vegas is in the Eastern most part of the Pacific time Zone. Yes, the contiguous 48 states of the USA are in four time zones, Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific. Now, the States can change daylight savings if their State Legislatures pass the legislation by 2/3 majority like Arizona and Hawaii and they do not change it at all, and some parts of Indiana also skip it. This is of course, a legacy from World War 2 here in the USA. I personally wish that the State of Nevada remained at a year-round daylight savings because it gets dark so early on Standard time during Winter and it would be better in my opinion.
