If we ever get a hot summer here (and it happens occasionally) as the weather gets cooler I feel the same.  60F would seem cool. 

This summer I'd doubt it'll break 70F, so I'll be in winter mode for the whole year.

The hottest I've ever experienced here in England was 35.6C/96.08F.   That year I sitting in just light shorts at home.
