The continuously swirling microlayer of razor-sharp lunar dust particles may make returning to the Moon's surface a huge challenge. But NASA is never-say-die!

Looks like Booster 7 has suffered a serious anomaly during testing today.  Will it delay the orbital flight?  I have to say, absolutely.  Check out YouTube for the video. https://youtu.be/05Yiw7_JTXY
That's a shame. :(

I knew Moon dust was a serious problem.  I didn’t know that there was a solution!  The Apollo astronauts are lucky their lungs didn’t hemorrhage from breathing in the razor sharp particles. Great little video, Zook, thanks!

Just thought this was a cool shot with Starship in the background, back when it had been stacked on the booster for a short while.

Astrophysicist "Dr. Becky" Smethurst explains what's so awesome about the first JWST images.

The snapping of pitch from a burning log,
The faint scent of pine filling the room.
Flames leaping about as if it were a ballet
Performing for its audience.
The soft, comforting glow of candlelight,
Bringing with it serenity and quiet thoughts.

I thought this was kinda neat, it’s part of the fairing from a Falcon 9 after it was fished out of the ocean.  SpaceX tries to reuse all of their fairings to keep down costs.  They used to try to catch them, but that proved too difficult, so they now just to clean off the seawater as quickly as possible.

I wonder how much that used fairing would cost. It would make for a wicked-cool looking Airbnb! :)

ISS aka International Space Station.  :)
aka the largest man-made object currently in earth orbit, and more than likely the most expensive scientific instrument ever built.

New fairings cost about six million, so I’m sure a used one would go for a nice piece of change!

Not to mention it would have to be thoroughly cleaned of all fuel and such.

But if I had six mil to spare, I wouldn't mind picking one up :)

A fairing protects the payload, in this case it was starlink satellites.  Fuel would be below, to power the first or second stages.  More likely it would need to be cleaned of any charring during re-entry and/or salt from the ocean.
