Bwaahhh! They Mighty Galvatron approves of the slightly heavier version of Charisma Carpenter. She seems to have put the weight on in all the right spots. See Jane Date was a great made for TV movie for this reason, some great butt and boob shots though they are covered by a conservative wardrobe.

Oh i'm going to miss Cordelia, but if she had to go to get in Spike, it was a good trade.

The weird thing was, is that they were flaunting Charisma's fake belly in "Expecting", yet hiding it even AFTER she was revealed to be pregnant on last season of Angel.

It didn't help that the pregnancy weight she added made her look her age (she's remarkably young looking for her age) and she probably didn't look all that good to the WB Execs. I dunno.

And to think Charisma was originally cast as "Buffy". SMG would have sucked as Cordelia (the role she first tried out for).

If you watch the pilot .. all the character/actors are the same as the series (buffy, giles, xander, cordy ... and I believe harmony was in there) ... except Willow ... they had a different actress for the pilot ...

My copy of the pilot has Allyson Hannigan as Willow. Is this on DVD? The first pilot was rejected. Is that the one without Allyson?

I downloaded the pilot pilot (not seen on TV A.F.A.I.K) using WinMX ... dunno if I still have it (was making room for music .. I mean ... making backups of CDs I legally own)

You know what I dont get? A few things.

1) Why isnt See Jane Date on DVD? Everything else is.
2) Why was the background on Angel so dark all the time? I almost had to squint every time to see Charismas belly.
3) Why is it impossible to find pics of her pregnant? Its harder than Ricki Lake (And she was actually kinda good looking during that pregnancy a few years ago on her show).

Yes, I think I have quite the charisma for a serial dream killer...Oh, that Charisma. In that case, piggies, here are a couple of screen caps for ya. Have to say I liked Buffy up until the end of Season 4, and Angel has shown signs of promise, but the constant shifting of the time it airs lets me think I will just watch it on DVD someday.

Charisma's pregnacy was incorporated into the Angel storyline in Season 4, so the pregnant shots of her are of her actual pregnancy. I've included one from the episode Orpheus where she reveals her pregnancy to the rest of the cast.

There was also an episode earlier in the season where the cast revert to their teenage minds (they think they're still teenagers). When they find they no longer look like teenagers, Cordelia (Charisma's character) cups her breasts and says, "I have filled out some more."

Which then prompts Fred (played by Amy Acker) to say, "And I guess I never will."

I think Angel is so so. I caught an ep right when I was waiting for "Expecting" was it? The ep with her pregnant from the first season? It was the ep before, and I must say I rather enjoyed it. But I still like Buffy more. Should watch it now, since Spike seems to be a disgruntled spectre (Caught some of an ep in the bar at work) but I may just wait for the DVDs.
