Bow down to the Ospreys. Heaven help the foes of the Ospreys.

I am developing a nagging suspicion that gOOber knows way more than he is saying...

Well, this is a bye week for the Ospreys, so they will perch until a week from Monday when, hopefully, the Sainteaux will give them back their losing ways.

Depends on if both the Saints Offense and Defense show up to play in the same game or not... ::)

Apropos of nothing at all, I've heard it said that the Washington Redskins can keep the name; they just have to change the logo:

The snapping of pitch from a burning log,
The faint scent of pine filling the room.
Flames leaping about as if it were a ballet
Performing for its audience.
The soft, comforting glow of candlelight,
Bringing with it serenity and quiet thoughts.

With the political correctness going on they will probably change the potato's name also. Anyways, my Cowgirls beat the New Jersey Dwarfs 24 - 21 meaning New Yawk  ain't gonna be in the playoffs. But yesterdays biggest collapse was the Broncos loss to New England. Neither team played well but the Patriots showed that they have a lot of poise and that Denver has a lousy defense. Fortunately for Pedonbio he did not have to suffer through another humiliating Seahawk win because they had the week off.  ;) ;D

Don't be too sure, 8-8 may win the NFC East this season.

The new Sports Illustrated has Tony Romo on the cover. The story is all about how Tony is unfairly judged and is really up there with Manning and Brady and is constantly and unfairly judged as a mediocre quarterback.
I went to pass the issue to my friend so he can read it but some guy intercepted it and ran off.It figures! ;D

Well, we are 7 - 5 now. The most interesting game this weekend for this Cowboys fan will be the Arizona - Philadelphia game. Both teams have to win in order to remain in the playoff hunt and a loss, while not fatal, could put a world of hurt to either one. As far as I'm concerned, the playoff season has already started. So many teams are in the hunt for a spot and losses could be fatal for their chances. About that Sports Illustrated cover .... it usually means bad luck.  :'(

Well Pedonbio, you must be totally disgusted and depressed as your Seahawks humiliated the Saints 34 - 7. The agony that you must be going through has to be overwhelming. Imagine that, the Seahawks are the best team in professional football. How will you possibly live this down ?  ::)  ;)  ;D

It's not easy, sol. I think TC diagnosed the problem, though. The Nawleans defense stayed home, and the offense showed up but went home early.  ::)

This was by far the most significant game of the week, College or Pro. While I don't have a dislike for Alabama, I was getting a little bit teed off hearing about what a genius Saban is and how his shit don't stink. Well, Alabama's coach made several key mistakes which probably cost Alabama the national championship. Of course, good luck is always helpful. The immaculate deflection the prior week when Auburn dodge a bullet is one of those things which prove that there are things you just can't plan for.  Now Auburn goes against Missouri. Auburn should win but .... the way things are going, ya never know.

I'm really glad we won, but for the life of me, I simply do not understand why Saban chose to not let McCarron try the Hail Mary or simply knee the ball and send them into overtime.  The way McCarron was playing, he might have actually pulled off the long bomb and sent them into the end zone.  At worst, they would have had to go into overtime play.
