Hey all,
Reading the Joan Rivers thread on a girl who was considered too buxom to cheerlead, I'm wondering what sorts of physical obstacles women face when they're considerably better-endowed than average.
I mean, have Maxi and Melonie and Busty Kathi had more trouble doing day-to-day things like working out, housework, etc. than when they were smaller-busted?
I'd be eager to hear anecdotes, if anyone would like to discuss it.

A bit of theory:  You not only have to accomidate for the added weight up top, but also for the size/volume that it takes up.  This means you will have to work out hard, make sure you gain enough muscle mass to handle the weight.  It also means you have to look around your bust, empolying mirrors whereever possible to get around the inability of not being able to see below.

Of course, when we get auto-adjusted air implants, the weight issue will nearly dissapear.

all of the laws of physics apply - gravity (discussed above), inertia (high speed turns while driving!), resonant harmonic systems (jogging at the natural frequency of my breast bounce), buoyancy(float right out of bikini tops) etc.  - as well as the quasi-physical 'magnetic' properties of attraction and repulsion LOL

Well I know exactly where this breast is, but that means I have no idea how fast it's bouncing.

Or worse, I know exactly how fast it's bouncing and in what direction, but that means I don't know where it is.

I remember one anecdote quite clearly from back in high school that illustrates one of the difficulties resulting from big breasts.  There was a girl in my history class who was a bit chubby, but endowded much more than a little extra wieght would normally result in, and I recall that one day she was complaining becuase she couldn't sit as close to the desk as the other students.  This made it harder to reach her papers and take tests than it was for the other [censored] because she couldn't lean over her work.

Oh man, I get such a major hardon from these stories.

I remember a coworker saying to her friends that bras her size were soooo expensive and her shoulders hurt from the heavy straps - and she doesn't know "how these things got so big".

These women are totally sincere and are not trying to brag at all.  They just don't understand that when I hear these things, blood is rushing into my pecker like Niagara Falls.  Next thing I know, I'm hunched over, trying to hear the woman speak, and I'm pitchin' this major tent in my pants and my heart is beating quickly and my hands feel clammy.

Melonie is right about all the laws of physics, of course (Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle? I'm not sure about that! LOL!).

Here's a little anecdote for you:

A couple of years ago, I was on vacation on Kauai in Hawaii. We decided to take a helicopter tour of the island (it was spectacular!) and I had no idea this was going to present a genuine problem for me! Imagine, if you will, a six passenger helicopter (the seventh person was, of course, the pilot). Two passengers (a woman and a small **09**) rode up front with the pilot. Four of us were squeezed into the back, and I mean SQUEEZED! There were two men, a boy, and me. I was on the left, right behind the pilot. These things aren't designed for roomy comfort to begin with, but my boobs were like an extra passenger! I couldn't even raise my arms!

On another note, that woman you overheard talking about her bra straps hurting was wearing the wrong size bra! If the straps hurt, the bra doesn't fit right...the straps aren't supposed to support the weight, just help positioning. Of course, I'm sure you're just going to tell her, aren't you? LOL!

My shopping life is further complicated by letters! Between trying to find HH cup bras and AAAA width shoes, I have quite a time! LOL!

IIRC, the straps position the bra, the cups are designed to hold the weight ...

Well, I've told you previously about my breasts flying sideways while driving when I had to swerve at high speed to avoid an idiot, but since you seem to enjoy these so much I'll relate another incident.

If you don't already know this, the supercoaster at 6 flags in New Jersey has a somewhat unique feature - at the very top of a loop, while the coaster car (and all the passengers) are hanging beneath the track, the ride is designed to bring the car to a complete stop for several seconds, let all of the passengers hang there looking ridiculous, and at the same time a high speed camera takes souveneir pics of the passengers which are displayed on large monitors to the people waiting in line to get on the ride.  Well, guess what happens to string boobs in a workout top when you hang 100% upside down !  Needless to say, the crowd reaction in front of the large monitors caused a bit of a stir!
