You are quite welcome to join us at the BEA but your Arlene Bell posts ran afoul of the following:

1. The 1-1-1-1 Rule: you may post/attach/link only ONE IMAGE PER USER PER THREAD PER ANY 24-HOUR PERIOD effective as of 1 March 2004.
However:

* Forum users posting images to which they alone own the legal copyright may post as many images as they like, including models posting images of themselves, wholly original works of art (not morphs), and photographers posting their own copyrighted images. Please bear in mind that the User/Member Gallery (and not the forum) is the area of this site intended for posting large numbers of images. Please remember that image posts must be on-topic and if a poster owns the copyright to an image, they MUST say so when posting (i.e.: "(C) ImageOwnerName"); Misrepresentation of copyright ownership is prohibited.

All BEA users, when first registering, agree to follow the forum rules and that 's the way it is around here.

Guys, please, please, please: I want this to continue long and end well. Whenever the slavemasters allow me a few moments on the computer to myself, I go to alt.binaries.pinups, and some days the only good things posted there are Phoofy's high-res scans. Phoofy manages to dig up shots of vintage models that, to my best knowledge, were never published. Most of his scans are too hi-res to post here (There is a 156kb limit), but Phoofy would make a wonderful member of our community.

Phoofy, I have difficulty keeping up with the rules, too, so I err on the side of limiting my posts. Basically, if it has a copyright mark, I don't post it. The 1-1-1-1 rule is easy to follow; I once violated it by posting three shots of different models (the limit is per poster, not per model), but tomorrow is always another day and another post.

So tell me, where do you get your new shots?

To echo pedonbio...  In case anybody here is getting a contrary impression, Phoofy is a good guy and world-class scanner of very long standing.  After years of being begged to post more on UseNet, I'm sure he's unaccustomed to being told not to post as much, so I hope he'll be given a chance to acclimate.  Phoofy would be a great contributor to this board.

I MEAN it when I say your posts are welcome... NOT just because AB is one of my personal faves (of course) and not just because of your reputation (I'm also a longtime fan of the pinups NG and have appreciated all your work) but because you are as welcome as anyone else here... this is a decade-old community of like minded enthusiasts.

I removed your post above due to the 1-1-1-1 rule... users posting again to the same thread must wait til 24 hrs of site time have elapsed before posting again to that thread. It's all explained in the terms of the user agreement (site rules, also linked in my sig file) and exists for a number of reasons, but mostly because the Owner of this site (who bears all the liability for what gets posted here) wants them to. I did not know anything you've posted thus far to belong to any of the prohibited sources (on the rule list also)... thus it was just 1-1-1-1 that was relevant. of course, if you know an image to be on the prohibited source/model list please don't upload/link it, even if the copyright notice has been cropped off or obscured.

Just read the rules (the are updated once in a while, but a single read-through will stand you in good stead) and enjoy yourself here among us fellow fans of glorious feminine pulchritude. I've dug through my stash to locate an AB pic (attached) that I haven't seen in a while, on the VERY remote chance I can provide YOU with something you don't already have.

I think goober was referring (melodramatically) to the fact that it's not separate dates that count, but that no two pics (from the same user) appear within 24 hrs. of each other. I've edited the rules again in an attempt to make this a bit more clear. Many of us who've been here WAY too long ( ) already know the rules by heart... no so much from reading them I suspect, but rather from seeing them enforced. Sometimes we all forget (myself included) that new friends aren't as familiar with them as we've become, that's all.

As it happens, this particular thread is FILLED with BEA 'old-timers' (though some prefer to use 'new' names ) ...many of us also haunt the NGs and participated on Anthony's FTP site too. Which explains I suppose why all of us in this particular demographic are so fond of the natural, retro models throughout this thread.

Again Phoofy: I'm glad you're here... a feeling that's shared by many others too I'm certain.
