I recently finished watching Burst Angel, and as bizarre as it was it was still quite enjoyable.

I have said it before and I will say it again, the phenominon I am referring to goes beyond animation inconsistency. I agree that there are few shows out there that have had perfect continuity for art style, but what was shown in Burst Angel is the perfect example of what I was talking about. There is no way that Meg's growth was by accident.

Another perfect example of ths is in Neon Genesis Evanelion. When you first meet Auska in episde 8 (Auska Strikes) she is rather flat chested. However two episodes later in episode 10 (Magmadiver) she has suddenly bloomed out to a full C-cup or possibly more when she was wearing the bikini and teasing Shinji. There is no way this is a mistake of the animators.

I'd give more specific examples but they elude me right now.

If you can get the subs online, watch xxxHolic - it's an interesting supernatural-themed show. The character in question is Yuuko-san, who seems to gain a couple of cup sizes in her already full bosom over the course of the show. I only noticed after watching a marathon; it's subtle, but by episode fourteen or fifteen, she can kill people with those babies.

I see. I saw your post after posting mine. I've seen screencaps of Burst Angel and have seen the inflation in action.

I would have to agree with you on this one.

I'd say they reach their peak in ep 16, not 15.  As huge as Meg and Sei are in episode 15, they are absolutely gargantuan in episode 16.  Their clothes aren't as revealing as in the beach episode, but they do look even more massive in that ep to me.  Unfortunately the second half of the episode is entirely focused on Jo and we never reach those heights of growth again for the rest of the series.  That said, they still stay pretty big, but they never again are as huge as they are in ep 16

A BE fan on the staff? possibly the animation director considering how blatant it was    Probably got scolded for going overboard, which results in them deflating for the later eps.
