Our last review for the month is not actually a video. Yes, AOV, will now occasionally review a DVD. Our first DVD review will be Return of the Ultra Vixens. Amazon.Com sells the DVD, and apparently, there is a video but it may be out of print. Starring in this 72 minute feature are Pandora Peaks, Lulu Devine, Fantasia, Kim Eternity, Candy, and in all too few minutes, Alexis Love. Produced and directed by D. Kelly Marsalis for Setec Astronomy Productions, you will both love and hate this production.
First a few overview comments: Pandora’s segment is a cinema-verite documentary style look at the stunning performer. Fantasia romps by the seaside. Candy walks around LA naked. Kim takes us into her boudoir and then her bathroom. And Lulu has two scenes both of which will make you scratch your head. Alexis Love shows up for about five minutes of teasing poolside imagery as well as 4 or 5 wonderful stills in the photo section of the DVD.
The film begins with a long, and exciting montage. Marsalis’s images are often breathtaking, and just as often - puzzling. I think the production tells us more about him than the subjects in his viewfinder. There are a number of fetishes displayed here. Besides an obvious predilection for breasts that are off-the charts in size, Marsalis likes feet, shoes, women smoking, and public nudity. Or, he thinks we do. My hunch is that this production was about his likes. And that’s fine. Marsalis pays homage to the Personally Yours series from Xavier Productions in both style and content. He even cuts in images of Casey James, and Busty Dusty from their Personally Yours videos. That series seemed more about it’s Director, David Christopher, and his editor Bud Swope, than the models. Quick jump cuts, many FX, switching from color to monochromatic back and forth were all done by Swope/Christopher to excess. Here it’s not too excess, but quite evident.
Often repeated throughout on the soundtrack are the words, “Where do we go from here?” I’d like to know this myself. A sequel is promised but it has not appeared yet. So we shall see. But we did go with Kim in her car as she squeezed and played with her own tits while driving on the free. WE also wasted time watching Kim look at her own website on a PC. Candy soaked her feet in the bathroom sink, and then she went shopping for boots. Lulu blew smoke in our faces, cruised into a store nearly naked, and then, she hung out near the railroad tracks as a slow moving freight train rolled by. That’s what I didn’t care for.
Of course there was plenty that I DID LIKE in this production. Alexis Love is always a pleasure to look at. She can easily be described as jaw-droppingly awesome. Kim’s bathtub and rub-on-the-baby-oil scene was great. Lulu’s tits are the biggest in the production and she is captured walking around in the underbelly of LA wearing barely more than shoes and jewelry at times. She also brandishes whips and chains to set off her startling huge tits. Why whips? I don’t know. Maybe Marsalis reads the column and will let me know.
Additionally, Candy who gets more on-screen time than the rest is a long-legged, raven-haired beauty, but her breasts are the smallest of the bunch. I had a difficult time selecting images for this review, because there were plenty of great ones. You can judge for yourself if my selections were to your taste. As for a rating – let’s go with 3.75 points out of five. Good-looking models, great tits, fine imagery, and an excellent sound track are the plusses. The Minuses are too many editing gimmicks, and too much time wasted on the director’s foot and ladies shoes fetish and other non-essential scenes for a video purportedly paying homage to big tits.
