No offense Palomine, but that's not what I was saying at all.  First off, I was only poking fun at the NAME of the rule, not the rule itself (please read what I wrote).

And secondly, maybe I missed it, but did someone in this thread actually break the 1-1-1-1 rule in regards to Chloe?  If so, I didn't see it.  As far as I could tell, you were telling people that even though they were obeying the rule, they should still be careful with their posts because you didn't want Chloe contacting the BEA and then having to add her to the banned list.  I was merely responding to that -- saying that I didn't believe it was necessary for Chloe fans in this thread to go above and beyond the normal BEA forum rules for fear of what might theoretically happen, because I happen to know that Chloe is well aware of this place and has been for a long time.  I've been trying to get to to come in and participate as well, so she knows all about it and what goes on here, which is why I was saying that I didn't think the user postings in here were anything that would ever raise her ire.  I wasn't remotely saying that I think BEA users should flout the rules in here.  Again, please read what I actually wrote.

I've spent hours of my life reading what you 'actually wrote' DJ. I wish I could say it seems that you do the same for me, or even just for the Owner's rules themselves.

Prompted by the recent slew of attachments, I've explained the BEA Owner's POV on this: he'd prefer that users act with discretion rather than rely upon the future good intentions of yourself or any other third party (who, unlike Owner, bear no liability at all for what happens here). We don't think it's a good idea for a whole bunch of images from the same source to be posted constantly, regardless of the fact that no single user violates the 1-1-1 rule in the process.

We also don't think it's a good idea for ANY user to 'invite' a model or other public figure into the forum to see discussions about them... this too is based on experience. While such 'invites' sometimes work out fine, sometimes they don't and the rules get longer as a result.

You may have read, but you certainly didn't listen.  I know paranoia runs high with the Owner and the Mods in here and that the practice of killing flies with a sledgehammer is the standard MO and that's certainly the Owner's right, but I was just saying Chloe is a personal friend and if she ever DID contact you guys -- which knowing her and her situation, I didn't think even had the slightest remote possibility of happening -- to let me know so I could offer talk to her directly and smooth things over, the way I did with Wendy a while back, so that a full outright ban wouldn't be necessary and she could continue to be posted here and maybe even participate herself from time to time.

You made it very clear that my help isn't wanted in that regard, so I'll go kindly screw off now and shut up.  Sorry to have wasted your time.

Having neither the stature of a mod or of DJPFC, being just a guy who's posted here a lot over the course of eight years, it just seems to me that no one until just now ever let slip the word "ban" in this discussion.  I'm not sure anyone wants anything banned here, if so they'd've said so outright long before now.  Perhaps there needs to be a companion to the 1-1-1 (or whatever) rule -- not for the sake of rule-making, but to help clarify what would count as discretion concerning any images of any model (making this all about Chloe rather misses the point) from any one particular site.  Three times a week, perhaps? Two?  I have great faith in the power of numbers and I believe a single number can dispel a thousand arguments.  From my perspective, as simply an admirer who openly pleads ignorance, and therefore perhaps some forgiveness, when it comes to the particulars of DJPFC's hard and excellent work, this coexistence has been working out magnificently for so many of us Archive members, and it need not get wrecked in yet another endless pointless Internet-style clash of wrangling personalities, however deeply justified each one feels, when, as I say, all that may be wanting is one simple number.

Put another way: fellas, it's all about a safe haven for admiring the girls, and definitely Chloe.  We all want that, in particular the great unwashed ignorant majority of us who are neither moderators nor photographers.  Just cut US a break, I beg of you.  Please.

DJPFC, thanks for your support and offer of help if it ever came to it. I think we all want the same thing, to be able to discuss Miss Vevrier, and do it with the odd photo now and then. I would guess thats where the forum mods are coming from too.
