Went to Seacompression this past weekend ... it's like a Burning Man lite ...

I thought munch's seemed more vibrant with the color than previously?
Maybe my imagination? Seems brighter with more contrast.

Not your imagination .. it is more vibrant .... the photographer who took this pic had a much nicer camera with a separate flash ... bit more professional .. than the basic cam the last avatar came from ...

Being the LookaLike brings that heat- not for me. The whole thing kinda landed on me anyway but uncanny, resembles... those terms leave room for me to be me. I made sure after that manager ---confusion was kept to a minimum. HeHe I still have some other MM manager stories though. Some just never learn.

I admit, the beer bottle thing seriously sucked.  Especially as I'd been working so hard to pull off badassery there and being curled up on the sticky floor holding my junk kind of ruined the effect. . .  

So, you have biting fans and obsessed club managers; throw in a personal manager or fan club operator who stole from you and you've got the feature-dancer trifecta of crap. As to the club, you know it's a dive when the girls fight for the shift when the SS checks come through for the clientele. . .  OTOH, it was a good place for a wannabe bouncer to get his foot in the door without being the barf-boy for six months first.  Mind you, as soon as I got an offer from a real club I was gone! The whole "yipee-I'm-a-bouncer-surrounded-by-naked-chicks-in-a-seedy-club" appeal wears off when the 20th guy who has never bathed yaks on you as you toss them out. Tell you what though, the guys were overall better towards the dancers as far as treating them right and tipping on the walk-around than a lot of the guys in expensive suits at the higher end club.

SaR, two quick notes:

1. Have you been checking the K C Strip, a "sticky" thread (found at the very top) down in Off-Topic?  It's THE coolest place in the Forum -- just ask notty, who otherwise sneers at just about everything.  I like to think of it as our Club 54, THE place for our avatars to get seen -- our dear Kithara likes to keep the fun pretty clean, though.  Anyhow, by virtue of your being homevintner's avatar, you just made it into the strip.  Congratulations are in order.

2. if you're REALLY into Duran Duran, you may want to check out a strange silly old movie -- starring Jane Fonda -- called "Barbarella."  The group got its name from the movie's mad scientist!
