Motion pictures on my to see list:
Australia -- looks like an old style epic, plus I never knew about the Japanese bombing Down Under.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button -- just out of an interest in fantasy, should be interesting to see if aging in reverse has any dramatic payoffs.
The Day the Earth Stood Still -- I owe it to my club newsletter to check out any remakes of the great classics, so I'll be there.
Defiance -- Daniel Craig leading a resistance in the woods. I continue to be fascinated by the Sobibor story, and never heard of this one.
Frost/Nixon -- I remember the original, and I'm a sucker for good political plays these days.
Revolutionary Road -- I'm kind of hoping this will intersect Mad Men territory.
The Spirit -- a movie with a Sin City feel, for once with a nice-enough hero and an ever-hot Eva Mendes.
(prohibited V) -- in spite of Tom Cruise refusing to sound German, it's historical, could be rousing, so I'll try it.
