Here is my menu print out from 2004~ It was the last time I would serve Grandpa John so I've kept it as a keepsake of our day.
Potatoes oh yea can't live with out those jammies!
I do other things but these are some of the staples for the Big Day!
I actually have some raw fun candid video footage somewhere around here
from Dinner in 06? I had the neighbors over and Dave's German Mom (Oma) who was the coolest (I wanted to keep her forever) Dave might make it down from Minnesota for the Big day and he used to be a Chef so his love of my Standing Rib Roast is ever flattering! Somehow we shot some video footage of dinner and the totty decline in the kitchen when the adult hour kicked in. Funny stuff. Anyway if I find it I will post it. But the way Holiday time and meal time is such a blast !!! I just love cooking and serving yum yums that delight. It is a gift all its own to watch their faces light up with delight on each bite.
Anyway
Smooches and I may need to exchange some recipes with you. I have an album (photo style) and it is tabbed according to Holiday with many of my favorite things that I like to include when preparing. "The Book" I date each new experiment and then the ultimate never fails are included in the blue book. Since you have chef eee ness too we must share hehe XOXO
