Here in Vegas, in a restaurant, if a parent or a legal guarding shares his/her alcoholic beverage with their teenage son/daughter they may do so as long as they are 16+ years old but they cannot buy a separate drink for the minor. Also, they cannot get them intoxicated otherwise the Police will be called and the Parent/guardian will be charged with **09** endangerment. Most of the USA, you just can't serve a **09** under any circumstances except in the privacy of your own home but if you get the **09** intoxicated and it is reported by a nosy neighbor, you can be arrested.
