I've got a bunch of Linsey stuff that I simply, cannot, look at any more.....just can't. All I see, is an image of those magnificent boobs, being unceremoniously dumped in an OR room garbage can!

Also....No way the marriage lasts. Linsey deserves a decent man, not this Bozo.

In the British article, she mentions her boobs swelling when she gave birth.  Are there any pictures of her at her biggest right before or after she gave birth?

Seeing how you all reacting to this, is there going to be a ceremonial ritual taking place to celebrate her past of who she was and how we'll miss her?

will there be a name for this procedure? Instead of paying our respect to the fallen ones as with funerals, we'll be paying respect for the uplifted ones.

I've been in touch with Linsey and her seller at Ebay to request that a U.S. version of this DVD be made available.  If there's sufficient interest expressed on the part of the members here, I'd imagine a U.S. version of this will in fact be released.  Linsey can be reached (for this purpose only) through [email protected] and her seller can be reached through the Ebay link above.

This is apparently the last video footage of the "old" Linsey, so, if you're interested, go ahead and let them know that you'd like to see a U.S. version released.

The only problem with your attachment is that it was from Linsey's 25 June 2004 appearance on Bo Selecta.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0528038/  Since she birthed in May 2005, either she had a breast reduction in 2004 and they grew back huge during her pregnancy, or the camera sometimes fudges the truth.

I don't know what the profit margins are for making a US version of "Gone Solo," but I imagine Doggo could give this info.  As far as I know there is not a US version of Flying Rabbits' "Double Dutch,"  which indicates to me that the cost would not be worth it, but again Doggo could verify this.  That being said, if a US version is not feasible, (and if I were Linsey and Canterburyblue I would like to see firm orders with payment before I would go to the expense of making a US version) why not buy an all region DVD player?  Again, I defer to Doggo, but I believe that the hound has pointed out the superiority of the PAL format and the non North American region.  Not only could you enjoy "Gone Solo," but you would have a world of DVDs available.

Google "region free DVD players" and unless you're in China you should get a wide range of players from $79 or so.  If you're in China do not add Tiananmen Square to your search.

Attached a vidcap from "Gone Solo" of Linsey in the shower preparing to soap up.  I think the quality/resolution verifies the superiority of PAL.

Check to see if your DVD player is on this list to see if there is a hack to make it region free.

Not much margin to play with but the feasibility of producing DVDs in NTSC standard from material shot in PAL depends on how much the producer is prepared to shell out for the conversion. The "right" (expensive) way is to do it in hardware but if you go back to the editing program you can make a DVD master in NTSC with fairly acceptable quality. Probably good enough for this purpose.

It all depends if the original edit is still available in the video editing program. If the editor had reclaimed all his hard drive space and deleted the originally captured AVI files, the only master available would be the compressed PAL DVD master. To make an NTSC version he'd have to recapture and reassemble the whole thing again, shot by shot, and that would be an expensive option.

Beware! We're not just looking at the region here, we're talking about the difference between PAL -- 25fps and a higher resolution -- and NTSC, 30 fps. Your DVD player and TV need to be capable of playing PAL. It's not just the region freedom which is quite often hackable as SwitcherX has pointed out.

Your PAL DVD will also play on the computer with no problems. Does anyone here not have a computer?

Thanks again to ilovelinsey for the vidcap. I'm not sure that it illustrates the advantages of the PAL standard. It could have benefited from some lighting, although there'd have been some risk of electrocuting the entire crew (unfortunate) and the talent (tragic).

Many, if not most, DVD players can play both NTSC and PAL disks.  DVD players are basically single task computers.  The drives in them are just computer drives with a different front plate.  The board inside can do both formats because that way they don't have to make 2 different boards.  The BIOS is what decides what format it can play.  Hence the hacks.
