And that's a god damned shame, for her and, most of all, for us, partially because to me this latecoming return seems to imply a little longing or regret. Makes me sad.

To whomever asked about her smaller areolas:  This is a pretty common practice among surgeons who do lifts/reductions.  Unless the woman complains loudly that she doesn't want them reduced, he'll usually just use a standard template (something like 2" diameter) to trace the size he wants to cut.  And some women want them even SMALLER, which I find a tad creepy.  Looking more youthful is one thing, but looking like you just barely started puberty is just plain ookie.

I will admit, they've done some good makeup/Photoshop touch-ups.  Take a close look at the lower aspect of her breasts; it's difficult to see the vertical scar running down from the areola.  As I stare at the pic critically, I swear there are scars there, or at least... something.  Logic tells me there has to be a scar there, but it's pretty obfuscated.  Even the periareolar scar isn't all that noticeable, at least on her right (our left side) breast.

*shrug*  But it's all about the image being marketed, right?  Sell the look, sell the fantasy.  More power to ya then, LDM.

I don't begrudge her for getting the reduction -- if she wanted to get it, then more power to her -- it just doesn't make sense to do it and then try to get back into modeling, especially since her breasts were the one single reason that she had any popularity or fame in the first place.  If she had been flat-chested from the beginning, does anyone really believe that she would have had any kind of career as a glamour model?  

My point is that, even if they were uncomfortable, she could have and should have just bit the bullet for a few more years, shot and built up enough content to sustain her site for several more years and then gotten them reduced.  But getting a reduction immediately after leaving SCORE and then trying to go back into modeling on her own is like The Rolling Stones announcing a new world tour immediately after kicking Mick Jagger and Keith Richards out of the band.

Wow, it's one thing to see them in a porno but to seem them in a more casual setting like Stern's studio really showcased how magnificent they were.

Just seems she changed her mind, perhaps her and her new husband at the time truly didn't think she'd ever get back into modelling again. Given the physical problems she's mentioned her boobs causing her in recent years, it was probably to them a no-brainer for her to take a reduction...no matter how much the true blue big-boobs-or-nothing crew would've been saddened by it.

Now, a couple years or so down the line, she's had a change of heart and wants to give it another shot. So now she has two options...either get implants, or stick with what she's got. If the current size is not what it once was, I'd argue it's better than a fake pumped-up imitation of past perfection.

Don't think she'll get the same coverage and attention as before but she can still make good coin off her figure for a while yet, so hey-ho, best wishes.

Agreed, I loved LDM when she had bigger breasts. The big breasts seperate the average model vs the popular models if your a big boob fan. I think LDM would have to get implants if she wants to revive her career. Lindsey had a perfect pair of breasts and one of the all time greats before the reduction.

I also can't think of any other models who have made a comeback after a reduction.

Exactly. There haven't been any models who've made that kind of comeback.  And if she thought she'd never model again, then that was very shortsighted on her part.  Suck it up and live with the big boobs, at least for long enough to do what she needed to do for her website.  As it is now, it's just kind of sad that she's trying to come back.
