Hey Rich - I'm a little perplexed. Just yesterday morning 1/31 you were trumpeting the new DVDs now available.
And now in this thread you are overtly and supremely angry.
I don't get it...
For all of the time since Y/N appeared, we've been seeing only what Kizu allows to trickle out. That's his plan. He's not planning for Yulia 's future, he's planning for his own future. He's released 11 DVDs which include the original 5 VHS tapes in five years meaning that not much is available.
And he's fiercely protective of his copyrights.
I know this for a fact, as Al-The-Editor and I had to remove my reviews of Yulia Nova Vol. 4 & 5 from this web-site. And I understand it to a degree. Last year I contacted Daktari Lorenz for the latest release of Nadine Jansen or Milena Velba. He said he wasn't going to send me a courtesy copy because due to file sharing his business had declined precipituously. So my choices were to buy the DVDs or join his website.
Kizu's business model is even more restrictive. That is literally old news. So are you mad because you are just finding out that the new releases are just new releases of video likely shot in 2003. And in fact are not the representative of the 2006 Yulia.
It shouldn't matter when the video was shot - it is still new to you.
Or is there something else in the wind?
I've never seen anyone go from being such a staunch supporter and advocate to become an opponent in such a short time. So that's why I am asking. What happened?
Why did your tune change so dramatically from Tusday morning to Wednesday>
From New York, this is ...

PS: To the commentator 'stoop' who said he found the Y/N videos 'boring'. Yeah, that's part of the problem too. The director shows lack of imagination, lack of camera movement, and poor pacing. There's also just a weak radio playing in the background, and so we are denied the element of decent music playing. Unfortunately, Kizu pays the price even if he doesn't know it.
Instead of flying off to a Moscow suburb every 6 months, he ought to fly her to a vacation paradise in the Pacific. he ought to spend some money on better equipment, sound, lighting, and settings. Then his DVDs would would be worth the exorbitant prices he charges. He'd make more money for himself. But since this hasn't happened in all these years, the conclusion must be that he likes it this way.
I'm not pleased at all. But I 'm not angry.
But to reply to stoop, yes much of it is boring. But she won't pass this way very often, and unless Kizu decides to adopt a different business model, 10 years from now we will still be looking at Yulia and she will be only 25 on screen. And even if you or I could do a better job of directing and marketing, we won't get the chance, without a costly search and find mission to Moscow, and then a U-Haul Trailer packed with mountains of dollars which you'd have to fork over.
