I don't want to deflate enthousiasm here but this video, like the vast majority of her collection, is just plain boring. Yes the lady is incredibly slim n stacked but she can't move in front of a camera... Kind of Christinamodel syndrom ?
I'd like some imagination in the settings and/or the outfits ! I'd rather watch 2 minutes of Milena than 1h of Yulia

my 2 cents...

I think the bangs are quite cute, and I think I like that kind of unpolished look. It seems more natural and attractive that she ISNT perfect, that makes me feel warmer towards her.

Well loyal Yulia fans, the ones like me, who have spent over $1000. to support our Russian Goddess & Mr. Kizu, this is where we find ourselves at the beginning of 2006.

11 DVD's have been released, 3 Photobooks, 5 VHS tapes, a calendar, a few "postcards & some handbags & coffee cups!

All this money & we are only seeing Yulia at age 20.5 at the latest. That is 2 years of videos, since she started modeling in the winter of 2001. She just turned 23 !

Look at the profiles posted, they span only 2 years & 11 DVD's...that is ELEVEN DVD's !!!

After all the fanfare about the new  "Seasons Trilogy" we are not even equal to the Cosplay Series for her age.

Yulia is clearly the oldest in the green bath segment, from the Cosplay series.

The new DVD's are just fine, IF you are new to Yulia & have not dropped a grand in the last 5 years!

For Yulia's loyal fans who have supported her over the last 5 years, this is a travesty, a joke!!! We are being made to look like fools by Mr. Kizu !

If and whenever, his new DVD's are released I urge all Yulia's loyal fans to be "assured" that they contain so genuine new material. If they do not, we should cease from purchasing any new materials, until they do!!!

Regards, Rich

Hey Rich - I'm a little perplexed. Just yesterday morning 1/31 you were trumpeting the new DVDs now available.

And now in this thread you are overtly and supremely angry.
I don't get it...

For all of the time since Y/N appeared, we've been seeing only what Kizu allows to trickle out. That's his plan. He's not planning for Yulia 's future, he's planning for his own future. He's released 11 DVDs which include the original 5 VHS tapes in five years meaning that not much is available.
And he's fiercely protective of his copyrights.

I know this for a fact, as Al-The-Editor and I had to remove my reviews of Yulia Nova Vol. 4 & 5 from this web-site. And I understand it to a degree. Last year I contacted Daktari Lorenz for the latest release of Nadine Jansen or Milena Velba. He said he wasn't going to send me a courtesy copy because due to file sharing his business had declined precipituously. So my choices were to buy the DVDs or join his website.

Kizu's business model is even more restrictive. That is literally old news. So are you mad because you are just finding out that the new releases  are just new releases of video likely shot in 2003. And in fact are not the representative of the 2006 Yulia.

It shouldn't matter when the video was shot - it is still new to you.

Or is there something else in the wind?

I've never seen anyone go from being such a staunch  supporter and advocate to become an opponent in such a short time. So that's why I am asking. What happened?

Why did your tune change so dramatically from Tusday morning to Wednesday>

PS: To the commentator 'stoop' who said he found the Y/N videos 'boring'. Yeah, that's part of the problem too. The director shows lack of imagination, lack of camera movement, and poor pacing. There's also just a weak radio playing in the background, and so we are denied the element of decent music playing. Unfortunately, Kizu pays the price even if he doesn't know it.

Instead of flying off to a Moscow suburb every 6 months, he ought to fly her to a vacation paradise in the Pacific. he ought to spend some money on better equipment, sound, lighting, and settings. Then his DVDs would would be worth the exorbitant prices he charges. He'd make more money for himself. But since this hasn't happened in all these years, the conclusion must be that he likes it this way.

I'm not pleased at all. But I 'm not angry.

But to reply to stoop, yes much of it is boring. But she won't pass this way very often, and unless Kizu decides to adopt a different business model, 10 years from now we will still be looking at Yulia and she will be only 25 on screen. And even if you or I could do a better job of directing and marketing, we won't get the chance, without a costly search  and find mission to Moscow, and then a U-Haul Trailer packed with mountains of dollars which you'd have to fork over.

Just Me Mike, I am vexed, you are perplexed!!!

The very short answer is this...

I spent about 3 hours watching in detail, the "Moscow in the Spring" DVD. Unless there is something wrong with my TV set or DVD player, the entire DVD was made "before she had her front teeth fixed"!!!

That was years ago, many years ago. That predates all of the Cosplay series!!!

As a side note:

I send a email to Kizu, recommending that Yulia have her teeth fixed, a number of years ago. His answer was that she did not need them fixed !!! He made that claim, BECAUSE HE DID NOT KNOW, THAT SHE HAD THEM FIXED, ALREADY !!!!!

Believe me, Mr.Kizu is NOT a "DETAIL" man.

Recently, Kizu claims that he is releasing material in the order that it was made...That is false.

This kind of treatment may work for his Japanese customers, but the rest of the world, will not put up with that nonsense!!!

Hey Doc - its not that simple. Dunlap2 really is avid for Y/N, and he is objecting strenuously to Kizu's lack of detail, impresiseness, and overall disdain for transparency with regard to dealing with his customers. All valid points from a consumers perspective.

He doesn't want to walk a way from the model, he's willing to pay the freight in order to see the model, and all he wants is that the damned producer to be more upfront.

Well, I hope doggo chimes in here, and can maybe shed some light on what Kizu said when he demanded we remove our review. According to what I recall, the argument went something like this is free advertising. We are alerting our readers to a great model, and at no cost to you, some sales might come from a reader who saw my review and was willing to buy the videos.

We still had to take down the review.

So the long and short of it always comes back to Kizu. And as consumers we can all exercise checkbook diplomacy and vote not to buy, or we can say damn, I've got to see this anyway.

I will not judge dunlap negatively for his reversal, I only asked why. And now that he's responded, I have my answer and I feel more positive about Dunlap2 for stepping up.

I remember reading something from Peter from Jlist where he said that crooked teeth are considered cute in Japan.

Your are correct Switcherx,

but Yulia's teeth were not crooked, just discolored between the front two. It was a very simple fixed most likely.

But here is my big problem with that:

If Yulia's parents really are "middle class" why was she not taken to a dentist in Moscow, BEFORE she started modeling??? And to compound the error, Kizu, being a "world class photographer" would have surely known, that this defect in his "model of the century" would be easily seen in his stills & videos!!! He could have paid for it before he started shooting!

Who has plausible answer...

Seeking plausibility has only led you to stress. The are many answers out there. And most of us don't know what the reality is.

A few years back, we had a poster to this forum called Shadowcom. His sources led him to make multiple posts here on this very forum where he stated that YN was an exploitee of the Russian mob. That she was a sex-slave. That she had some sort of mental disorder that he could see/detect from the bone structure of her face and head. He said that her expressions in photos and videos were concrete 'proof' that she was retarded. And on and on. Maybe Shadowcom was just pushing everyone's buttons, or maybe he believed all that he said was stone fact.

Who knows what his motives were?

The debates were enormous. Shadowcom is no longer posting here. But his staggering views of the real-life story of the off-screen YN just brought up the fact there are many realities - perceived, imagined, fictional, and actual.

I'd rather gripe about Kizu's business practices, or discuss the videos, or simply admire the woman, than get caught up in one or more of the 'realities' about Yulia when she's not in front of the camera.
