I just want to clarify my prior post to acknowledge that of course there are gay men and women in positions of power and influence in media, but (IME) the vast majority of major decision makers tend to be more traditional businessman types (i.e.: older, white, wealthy and straight). The public has demonstrated for decades that it prefers slender women with relatively modest bosoms in the media it buys... to my mind, that commercial reality is the main factor in who gets cast in what. Personally, I'd be delighted if the majority of tv shows featured women like Christina Hendricks and Kat Dennings, but most viewers clearly don't agree with my taste.

This also gives me a good excuse to repost the image I put up earlier in this thread featuring Dana Kaminsky as "Melanie" in "Hot Resort" ...one of the zillion or so teenage summer frolic movies that would have been entirely forgettable were it not for her pretty face, short hair and marvelously pendulous deeply tanned breasts.

I have a VHS copy of this that I got from a bargain bin in a video store.This was right before I started buying porno movies.I remember looking at the front and back of the box and thinking "Oh my god!,this is a porno!".I was under 18 at the time and I was really sweating it when I brought it up to the cash.I was hoping the cashier would not ask me for Id or say "You're too young for this!".Imagine my disappointment when about 20 mins into the movie and I thought to myself,"Hey,this isn't a porno."
Still,it's a pretty funny movie.I didn't realize until later that some of the actors in it were actual porn stars.
I remember the line (not sure of the dollar amount) that the pretty boy star says to the delivery guy-"$97.50 for a bunch of fucking noodles!"
