The Walking Dead.
I've never watched the show,so I don't know how it relates to the game. This is not a walk around and shoot zombies game. It's a choose how the story goes game. The animation, sound and special effects are top notch. This game was on many best of 2012 lists. It is an adult game with swearing and bloody violence. It comes in episodes. If you perform an action and die it's okay because you can restart from the point where you died. You can tell the developers did not just try to cash in on a popular show. They put alot of time and thought into it.I can't say enough about this game.

I agree, you can't just break it down to one game only.  I started with an Atari 2600, had the usual games, but it wasn't as much fun as going outside, riding my bike, and interacting with other 'kinders.'

I didn't really get into gaming until I got a GameBoy (X-Mas, 91).  So Tetris definitely got my attention.

Got a Nintendo SNS (Jan 94), and the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was EPIC.  (It was also the only fantasy game I'd play; just not into wizards, goblins, fairies, etc.)

Fav' PC Game:  Rome: Total War.  You start off with two villages (if Roman, you're in Italy), and you have to build your towns, armies, allow trade, develop an economy, assist allies, etc.  Eventually, the goal is to take +50 territories and Rome itself.  To watch 10,000 virtual troops, cavalry, ballistas, etc. trying to kill each other while maintiaing formations is nothing short of awesome.

Console (PS3):  the Assassin's Creed series.  The first one was very redundant, with climbing over 50 towers to reveal the same tasks; you can pick up hundreds of faction flags and kill Templar knights...with nothing to show for it, not even a PS3 trophy!  However, AS2, AS:Bro, and AS:Rev are so closely tied, it almost feels like one GIANT game, since I NEVER break between them.  Towers can still be redundant, but the historical graphics, story and side missions, and the 'open world' (non-linear) gameplay are worth it.  When done with one, I quickly switch and fire up the next in the time it take me to grab another beverage or use the can. lol  Currently playing AS3 for the 3rd time now.  I pre-ordered the Special Edition, got the Connor statue and Colonial flag.
Embrace the facts, uphold the truth.

I loved Saints Row the third, because i love the GTA style play, and I made the character have enormous tits and dressed her in awesome outfits.  Great jiggle action ;D

Galaga is one of my all-time fave arcade games.

It was very good, but I still loved Ms Pacman best. It was so much more interesting than Pong.
Someday, chi1dren, this entire fuck-up will be yours.

The one where you play as the Greeks and the like?  What about "AoE II"?  The 'Salahadin Campaign' was the toughest, and couldn't beat it.   >:(

Edit:  Sorry, I just remembered "AoE II" WAS 'Age of Kings.'  I thought it was the expansion, where the Aztecs & Mayans were introduced.

Yes that one, I guess i like it more for the civilizations portrayed and for nostalgic reasons...those were more civilized times when life was simpler...lol

Slender Man.There are a few versions of the game.I'm playing Slender Rising.
If you like creepy games and ones that you can pick up and start playing without having to read 20 pages of control instructions then this game is for you.
The premise is you have different areas(woods, empty streets, hospitals)where you have to find 7 signs. You'll see a red arrow that points toward the sign when you are close to it.Slender man is a grim reaper looking figure. You never know when he will appear.Your job is not to stare at him and get away from him.He has tentacles that pull you towards him and he kills you.The screen turns black and white when he is in the midst of getting you.
Each area is huge. There are 4 different areas on the one that I'm playing. You have 4 options on what environment you want to play in.They are day, night, night vision and thunderstorm.
The music and overall atmosphere of the game is a 10.Trust me,this game is amazingly creepy. My only complaint is that you only have the option of moving away from Slender man but I guess that's the point. It's not a get a gun and shoot everything action game.

New York Zombies 2
I have the first one so I knew I would like this. It's basically what the title says. It's a first person shooter where you move around different New York locations like Times Square, the subway and Central Park and you nuke zombies.
I only have 2 complaints. In the first game you were allowed to take like 8 different weapons and in this one you're only allowed to take 4 weapons on each mission. The game is also a little on the short side but it is definitely a replayable game.I give it a solid 8 out of 10.
Here I am in Central Park being chased by these dead fuckers.

Dead Trigger 2
Been playing the hell out of this game. It's free with in app purchases available. The best thing about this game is every weekend they have an online tournament. The person that finishes at no.1 sometimes wins a tablet or iPad.If you finish in the top 1000 then you get a prize that is usually gold or money that you spend in the game. The best I've ever finished was 101st place, which is very good considering there are probably over 100,000 people playing.

Favorite in terms of memories and attachment: Chrono Trigger
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrono_Trigger
My buddy and I put our money together and got this when it was still new. I've played through it 83 times now since 1995.

Favorite in terms of replayability as in, I'll go back to it at any time for leisure:
Marvel versus Capcom 2
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_vs._Capcom_2:_New_Age_of_Heroes
Fighting game that mashes up Marvel super heroes like X-Men and Hulk with the fighting series' of Capcom like Street Fighter and Darkstalkers. You pick any three and while fighting you can switch between them on the fly. Great fun.

Favorite in terms of what I'm playing right now: Firefall
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firefall_%28video_game%29
It's a massively multiplayer online shooter game. It's really futuristic like Halo but everyone is in the the world at the same time and can help each other out or have shootouts with each other. Lots of stuff to do.

I may be mistaken by one of those fighter games allows you to play as a purple Sentinel robot!
That is always a plus.

Never really liked the fighting games as they are not much more than a street brawl although they can be appealing when all you want to do is smash things.

As one would expect I am much more into the empire building and construction type games.
