Studebaker?

If a car could get an erection, that car has one.   ;D

I apologize in advance if I post duplicate pictures in any of the picture threads I deal in.  My MO in getting pictures of one girl is to rip her Instagram.  That ends up with me having up to 2000 pics of her.  I've tried almost half a dozen duplicate finder programs, and none of them find all of the duplicates I inevitably end up with.

From 1975 to 1980, the AMC Pacer, one of the ugliest cars ever built as far as I'm concerned.  :P

Then, why do you want to know it?  This isn’t the “just random pix of cars” thread or “ugly cars” thread.  It’s supposed to be of cars that you find interesting enough to want to get to know. Please start a “Any old car pix” thread if you just feel like posting for the sake of posting.

Now, here’s a car I love to get to know: the 1960 Plymouth Fury sedan.  Not as cool as Christine, but pretty cool.

Well, I wanted to know why anyone wanted or bought the AMC Pacer. Personally, I avoided them like the plague.  :(

An automobile which a neighbor owned when I was living in Houston during my Senior year in High School, a 1974 Oldsmobile 98, a true land yacht along with its GM siblings the Buick Electra 225 and the Cadillac Fleetwood, this particular two door model was actually in the UK owned by a car collector. Hard to believe a half century has passed since.  :o

A car which that asshole Ralph Nader killed because he hated GM with his bullshit book, "Unsafe at any speed." it was the only air cooled, rear engine car that GM made to try to compete against VW Beetle and a study by Texas A&M university in 1972 proved that Nader's book was crap and that the Corvair handled no different than cars of its era and it was safer than the Beetle which Nader never attacked. This is a 1964 convertible model. When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, Nader told the Russian people not to apply western economic or political ways which shows that deep down, he was a Communist.  >:(

A vehicle derived from the US Armed Forces, especially the US Army and Marine Corps, the AMC Hummer H1 was sold to civilians when Arnold Schwarzenegger convinced the executives to sell him one and to sell it in the civilian market and it was produced from 1992 until 2006 when emission standards essentially killed it. :( I still think it was great and it was/is by far the best off road vehicle sold in the civilian market.  :) It was unfortunately way too expensive for me.  :(

Actually, it was called the Dodge Polara.
