Back in 1982, my sister bought a red Pontiac Firebird Trans Am which she kept until 2001 when she sold it to a friend which still has it. He views it as a classic vehicle.  :)

I do too.  To me, it still has a modern sporty feel to it.   :)

I apologize in advance if I post duplicate pictures in any of the picture threads I deal in.  My MO in getting pictures of one girl is to rip her Instagram.  That ends up with me having up to 2000 pics of her.  I've tried almost half a dozen duplicate finder programs, and none of them find all of the duplicates I inevitably end up with.

Back in the day, you had these "Cowboy sedans" and I always wanted one but unfortunately, I've never owned one and they disappeared in the 90's. This is a rare El Camino SS with a big block 454 cubic inch Chevy engine. I wish they still made a vehicle like this.  :)

Very classy customization.  Looks like it would really haul ass on the highway.

I remember a friend of my father worked for the PRI political party when I lived in Mexico, he bought a 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in San Antonio and brought it to Mexico. At that time, it was illegal to own non-Mexican made cars in Mexico and since he was a member of the super corrupt political party, he got away with it. It was so huge compared to most cars in Mexico at that time.

My first job back in 1972 was at an ESSO gas station, which became EXXON the following year, and where it was located was a nice neighborhood in Houston and very popular cars were big cars like the Oldsmobile 98 which at the time was the biggest Oldsmobile.  :)

Very hot looking car, though that front end makes it look like it should be in Death Race 2000!   ;) :)

That car was very radical for its time for American cars since it was a mid-engine design like Ferrari for example.  :)

I remember when Buicks were luxury cars that were gigantic like this 1972 Buick Electra 225, in which the 225 was for the length of the car or 225 inches or 18,75 feet when it came out in the 1950's but this model was 22.5 feet long.  :)

Back in 1983, my sister-in-law, wife of my brother, was rear ended by a delivery truck which ruined her car. They sued the company and as a result, they got enough money to buy a brand new 1984 Camaro Z-28 in cash and to put a payment to pay off their home. They divorced years later though.  :(
