Wow! A whole city on lockdown!

I hope that the "street people" (homeless etc.) are able to find shelter somewhere safe.

Not all folks have the resources to be able to get the word.

Wild.  For years our attention has been put on Batman's Joker -- but it's this Dzhokhar we really want. >:(

Pb, despite the widespread coverage, authorites have specifically asked that addresses of their investigation sites not be reported. I know it's everywhere else, but...

Doesn't matter now; they have the guy in custody.

On another note... Is it treasonous or heretical to feel that we've all gone overboard on our reaction to the bombing? Was it really, really necessary to put an entire metropolis on lockdown? Is having flags at half-staff across the country for days afterwards a bit much? Yes, my condolences go out to those few who lost a loved one, and my sympathies are with those who have been injured. But come on....

A fantabulous night to make romance

And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow...

I feel the same way, rtpoe. NPR, which I rely on for a connection to reality, pretty much turned itself into an "all Boston crime news" channel for the duration with the same mindless repetition of the same mindless "bulletins" as every other useless fountain of ignorance.

The most intelligent thing I heard was from a Pakastani--In Pakistan, three dead in a bombing is a quiet day.

Robin, did you check Zorro's post, which is an FBI poster? It has the address of the suspect, which was Apartment 3. I was just wondering who was in Apartment 2.

Same thing happened during hurricane Sandy. If I heard them say "superstorm Sandy" one more time...!

The more horrific or shocking the crime, the more people overreact.

I'll say this about captured suspect no.2.He may not truly realize why he did what he did but I'm sure after about 72 hours of hardcore questioning by the FBI he will know.
Water board,anyone?

No, thanks, I'd rather we wouldn't continue down our path of torturing people who look sideways at us.

I understand that Obama has already talked to Russian president Putin about the bombings.
Here is part of the conversation:
Obama-"You're people have anything on these two guys?"
Putin-"Fluck off!I'm too busy preparing the Winter Olympics for Sochi,I have no time for dis bullshit!I still think Drago beat Rocky, too!"

1. I don't want to waterboard because I would like some RELIABLE information from this Dzhokhar.
2. Among all the people of the world who might wonder at our overreacting, I wonder what Israelis think.
