Apparently the blocking has not hit everyone, but quite a few: today at 10:40 am GMT there was only one other member besides me on board (plus 26 non-member guests).  Must be a record for low attendance (highest ever was 593 just over a year ago).

Well, the last of days, I've not been able to get the forum to load at all, apparently due to maintenance.

Said apparent maintenance hasn't fixed the problem.

I've found the forum to be totally inaccessible for the last few days. Now I see that it's back up back up. Initially I wasn't able to login, but by reading this thread I found the workaround and was able to do so.

The BEAddventure is still inaccessible, though, giving a "Forbidden: You don't have permission to access this resource" error message.

If this is the result of maintenance going wrong, then trying to do it immediately before Christmas doesn't seem like the best of ideas.

Well the forums are accessible again today, but still need to use the Chat backdoor to login. However, unable to upload any attachments to posts - size was not the problem.

I just was able to login for the first time in days, using the chat workaround.  The login screen looks like it works, shows my username logged in, but when I come to the forum I'm not logged in.  I haven't tried to post any attachments yet, we'll see how that goes.

Just tried to post an attachment, it failed.  Hopefully, these problems will be fixed soon.  I hope we haven't lost a bunch of members who give up on the site.

Managed to get in though a hyperlink in a spreadsheet, first time I have been able to log in since the 23rd. Like others, I cannot post attachments at the moment, Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Was getting the Amazon test page for the last 3 days,  Still had to use the chat back door link when logging in.  Can't add attachments either looks like there might be a Write protect on the FTP directory where attachments are stored.

Yes, no luck with attachmants as yet, sure it will be fixed very soon.

Thanks to the intrepid Forumites and the chat backdoorism, I'm back!

Looks like some people forgot the old saying "if it ain't broke...don't break it over the Xmas holidays when tech support is at home sipping on eggnog"

Well, the Amazon "under construction" test page is gone, but still can't log in normally    Fortunately. the titmouse workaround is still working. Unfortunately no attachments are possible
