^Very well stated Wolpertinger, it is like cutting off the branch. Usually a pay site offers content, but forums are free, their existence entirely dependent upon people posting. The BEA created two levels after it was founded, the free baseline forum contributors and the other for members wishing to access the works of various people. The model is nearly 30 years old and everything has changed, but for no known reasons, the BEA has not, as evidenced by your need to edit your post secondary to the absurd censorship of common, innocent, everyday words. One would think that whoever makes the decisions would want the BEA to be the destination for content and discussion it once was, but charging potential new members, only sends them looking elsewhere, while the numbers continue to dwindle. It wasn't that long ago that a thread could fall back to page 4 or 5 in a single day; now page 5 has posts from 5 days ago.
