Right now at 5:09 AM or 0509, it is a bone chilling 75F or 24C.

Yesterday we had ....RAIN !

The high only went to 98F and the humidity right now is an oppressive 39%

which for us is horribly high. A few days ago we were routinely over 110F but today we might only go to 95F. Like the old saying goes, if you don't like the weather, just wait, it will change.
Now back in 1986, I was stationed in San Diego where the weather is so dependably nice that it can get boring and then our ship, the USS McKee, AS-41, got TDY ( Temporary Duty ) orders to the Naval Air Station Adak, Alaska, in the Aleutian Islands for a training exercise to prove that if necessary a repair and supply ship could be quickly redeployed to augment a far away facility. Back in the good ol' Cold War days, Adak was a two hour flight on a P-3C Orion from the main Soviet submarine base of the Pacific Ocean in Petropavlovsk, Russia in the Kola peninsula. Anyways, we got there in July 2 and it was gray and gloomy and cold. On the 4th of July, it ... snowed !

WTF !

I always thought that joke about snow in the 4th of July was just that but sure as shit, the white stuff was falling. Oh, the sunrise was at 0215 and the sunset was 0010 hours. It never got above 45F during the month of July we were there. It sucked. Adak had a small US Marines contingent and it had the highest suicide rate in the Military in those days. It was considered hardship duty so you got a little extra on your pay packet. The base was closed in the 1990's when the Soviet Union went out of business but it is being considered for re-opening because the Russians and Chinese are getting to be assholes again.

So as my mom used to say, somebody somewhere has it worse than you so count your blessings.
