105F or 41C which is cooler than normal.
I honestly don't know how you cope with heat that hot.  We've had a few sunny days here in the low 20s, and already I'm over it and want it to be cooler.

And I can't see how you can live in a place that constantly rains, never gets warm, Summers are short ( Real Summers, by the way ) , likely have to shovel snow in the Winter, and it's all around gloomy. I didn't like the 4 years I was stationed in Bangor at the Trident Submarine Base, near Seattle across from the Puget Sound, because you are describing the same weather.  :P But to each his own. My sister lives in Northern California and she hates Vegas so there is that. By the way, it's 7:55AM or 0755 hours, 89F or 32C with overcast skies and some rain in parts of the valley with 35% humidity. The high will be 103F or 39C this afternoon with some more rain.

it's 87 degree in Tuktoyaktuk, Canada a new record high. It's been hot like that for week. normal high is 60 for summer. That is the northern peninsula of Yukon area. I don't think anyone owns a AC unit up there!

It is at 9:30PM or 2130 hours 96F or 36C  with 25% humidity. It should be 100F or 38C for a high tomorrow with sporadic rain throughout the valley and a low of 85F or 30C.

Fair point.  Like you say, each to their own.

You are right - summers here are short - and yes I have to shovel snow in the winter (for most of England it never snows).  Not sure about the rain though, it doesn't rain half as much here in England as it is stereotyped too.

Should be 25C today - so I shall be off out to the countryside.

At 7:20PM or 1920 hours, it is 95F or 38C with 31% humidity. Earlier today at 3PM or 1500 hours, we actually had strong rain where I live and rather than just spot the windows, it actually cleaned them.  :)

0900 and 14C and cloudy.  Going to be 17C and sunny - whoopee.

The UK's weather service The Met Office has issued its first "extreme heat" warning as it says Britons in parts of the UK are at risk of sunburn and dehydration.

It comes after temperature records were set over the weekend with 31.6C (88.88F) recorded at Heathrow on Sunday, overtaking Saturday's record-breaking 30.3C (86.54F) recorded in Coton in the Elms, Derbyshire.

And temperatures are expected to climb further, possibly reaching 33C (91.4F) in some western areas, but widely high 20s and low 30s elsewhere.

Your definition of " Extreme Heat " would sound hilarious here.  ;D We call that April Spring weather here. Anyways, it is 88F or 31C here at 3:50 AM or 0350 hours with 42% humidity and we expect a high of 102F or 39C  for the day which we call normal weather.  :)

26C and smoke.  If it wasn't for the smoke, it would be awesome.
