Well Gizmowidget, the reason I started this thread wasn't because I think women and cars are the same or anything like that.Women are certaintily superior to pretty much anything. I was thinking about an emotional level. I've own 4 vehicles in the last 30 years since I got my first one, a 68 Impala fastback. Boy,was I proud! I got it thru the sweat of my own brow when I saved the money to buy a car. My first and only job I had till I joined the Navy was at a service station in Houston (Esso, now Exxon on Wilcrest and the Katy freeway) from 71-75 and the owner told me he wanted to sell his car and said I could buy it for $800. Minimum wage then was $1.25 so it took a little while. I got it in 73 and it was in fine shape. It had a 327,4 barrel carburator and 275 horses. A big back seat to get your date in the mood and it was mine!It was destroyed when I was stationed In Hawaii. I was out at sea somewhere in the Indian ocean and it was in storage on base and these 2 clowns stole it,got **92** and drove it off the Pali highway and 50 feet down, killed the car and themselves. Serves them right, the 2 assholes

.I miss it because it was my first car,the place where I finally got the young Lady to go all the way ( no names please, she'd like to keep her good reputation

)and other fond memories. So when I compare women to cars,it's because I LOVE THEM BOTH.I now own a 97 Silverado ( I'm 5'5" tall, guess I'm compensating) and it's been a peach,no problems. So I'm trying to compliment the Ladies in a way I believe that exalts them and I mean no harm.
