I was one of the extras in "Legends Of The Fall".  I played a Highlander in one of the Canadian Regiments charging a hill in the 2nd Battle Of Ypres.  You see my dead body when one of the lead actors is doing a belly crawl thru a bunch of dead and dying soldiers.  That's about it for fame for me, unless you count a bit of rep in certain circles for being around a long time in the manga/anime newsgroups and forums, and having a very large hentai manga/doujin/anime collection.

I apologize in advance if I post duplicate pictures in any of the picture threads I deal in.  My MO in getting pictures of one girl is to rip her Instagram.  That ends up with me having up to 2000 pics of her.  I've tried almost half a dozen duplicate finder programs, and none of them find all of the duplicates I inevitably end up with.

When I was in high school, a penpal of mine was Frank Capra, who directed "It's a Wonderful Life," "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town," "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington," etc.

You're WAY ahead of me, OW.  I hope you've kept those letters.  Me, I only had a postal correspondence in the 1990s with Irish McCalla, the woman who played "Sheena: Queen of the Jungle" on Fifties television.  Though I'm guessing her signed photos were sexier than Mr. Capra's. ;)

Ms McCalla did some modelling, as I recall, without a top.

True dat, but she was lying face down on a towel, at least in one shot I saw.

Irish was personally a bit circumspect -- if her nipples are indeed visible in any photograph, she was not autographing that for general consumption.  And yet I still consider her one of the great underappreciated beauties of the Twentieth Century.

However, I still wouldn't mind hearing what Mr. Capra had to share ...

Holy crap, how could I forget? In the 1990`s I corresponded with Cynthia Myers, Playboy`s Playmate of the Month December 1968. She`s a really nice and genuine person. You bet I still have all the letters. :D
....rejoicing in the fullness thereof....

Let's see...

I've met Arnold Schwarzenegger twice...as a 5-year-old and in 2008...

I auditioned for the "Beauty and the Geek" reality show. Nothing doing there, unfortunately (or not).

I met Sonny Bono shortly before he died...I was young, and I refused his autograph! Dammit! :P

I've met Jim Tressel, coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes, as a family member of someone who he visited with a few of his players. Met Archie Griffin, too, on another occasion. Got signatures of both. The plastic ball Tressel signed is now a family heirloom--the "Tresselball" we rub for good luck. :)

As an aside, I met John McCain at the political rally where I also met Arnold during the election season. I would have said a few things now that I didn't at the time, but what are you going to do? ::)

Q-"My claim to fame is me"-BE :P
