Nah, while I hate to be the cynical type, I think sheber's post combined with the first sentence of Zorlond's pretty much caps it....
She's referred to them as a great set of accessories, and she's already said she doesn't need a necklace because of them.
Necklace = ornamentation.
Necklace not necessary due to naturally provided ornamentation.
So therefore, Zorlond's line of:
"Standard advertising ploy. Talk them down (constantly) to draw attention to them."
makes total sense. This is in fact exactly what I think she is doing.
Of course, as I had never developed any sort of ESP or mind-reading capabilities, this is only a guess on my part.
