I have a copy of concert DVD Kenny and Dolly: Real Love, but somehow cannot find it at the moment to check if this is exactly how it transpired. In any case, at one point in it Dolly singles out a young man in the audience near the stage, and remarks how he had been constantly looking at her dress throughout the concert. And then she adds that she didn't mind it at all.


Are those nipple covers that are peaking from there? For sure its deliberate - I love how she presents herself in such a breast centric manner.

Dolly has always known how to make herself look good in pictures.

Definitely early 70's photo, The hairstyles and clothing give away much of it but I also noticed the camera because I had one like that. It's a Kodak Instamatic. Boy, I'm just feeling old .... er ...mature.

I saw a video on YouTube the other day where they talking about the current mayor of New York City and the interviewee said "Dolly Parton would be a better mayor of NYC than" the incumbent. Everyone in the comments agreed.

She's a superlatively-good human being.

A good one - I had not seen it before. It would be interesting to know how the idea was discussed with her. Even more interesting if it was Dolly who came up with it.

Here she is making a joke to quite explicitly draw attention to her breasts. The interviewer laughs, but I'm not sure she is all that amused. Dolly's attitude is like: "I'm here to sing and to show off my breasts, and I'm not singing today."
