Wow... I swore to god I had posted in this thread before... (ok maybe it was angry ranting...and not so much at god but at the half empty box of Corn Flakes I keep next to my T.V. for such occaisions)


MrEff as some fo you may know comes from a Jhonen Vasquez Comic known as "Johhny The Homicidal Maniac". MrEff is one of two styrofoam Pilsbury Doughboys brought to life by the main characters mental depravity.... It's the one that tried to get Johnny to kill himself.....

 


So it stuck... and I use it everywhere..... if you see a MrEff on another forum.....it's probably me

In 1999 I joined the U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club in Pompano Beach, FL. Like most motorcycle clubs you have what they call "road names".

At the time I joined I was the only member of Mexican decent so being unable to come up with my own road name, the members of the club gave me the name of Zorro.

It's my initials for my real name. But when I thought about it, I said "Self?" "Yeah?" "You can come up with something better!" So, I drew upon my loves (writing, mythology and folklore, and heroics) and thought, "What would I be if I was a hero today? I know! A Knight!" So, I used to be the Blonde Knight, but, eventually, I saw SO many "Blond Knights" on forums and groups, that I changed it. And the first thing someone, who knew me personally, said "You remind me of Hal Jordan! Your new moniker ROCKS!" So, I kept it! And that's how I became GLKnight83!

‘Crazy Wolf’ or variations on it is a screen name I’ve used for various, erm, interesting sites I’ve made accounts on just to lurk in. (One does a lot of lurking when one is a writer.) However, it has a tendency to be taken before I arrive at places. Also, there’s an artist in the Pacific Northwest who goes by that moniker. Hence ‘Sir Crazy Wolf’, which other people seem generally not to have thought of before me.

Besides, it’s advertising of a sort. Remember, ladies, the warnings your mothers gave you when you were younger. There are many crazy wolves in this world.  But only one of them is guaranteed all knight.

 And why is that my name? well again the same as Matt, you'd have to go back in time to nov 1975 and ask a couple who 'made' me.
